FOSTER/FOSTER TO ADOPT/ADOPT Adoption fee is sponsored. Kenji says adopt me please!!! I am a sweet boy with a wonderful temperament and I love other dogs!!! Kenji is one of our parvo survivors from Fresno Humane. DOB is 9/11/23 and best breed guess is Aussie/Shep/Lab mix. He is a big boy at 55 lbs. He loves treats and loves to please. He has a shy submissive demeanor and needs work on his confidence. Kenji has started his leash training and is also good off leash hiking. Working on his carsickness. Housetrained and using a doggy door. We love this boy! He is a foster favorite for his good behavior. Due to the extreme overpopulation crisis we are facing, we are waiving fees for large breed dogs. Application and home check are still required. Adoption donations gladly accepted.

With heavy hearts, we must find a new home for our beloved Australian Shepherd, Maverick (2.5 years). Despite rescuing him 9 months ago and forming an incredible bond, our upcoming cross-country move to a city environment wouldn't be fair to this active, outdoor-loving pup. Maverick is a sweet, affectionate velcro dog who loves to howl along with his humans! DNA tested at 82% Australian Shepherd, he's great with other dogs but can be submissive around dominant ones. He is fully house-trained, neutered, and completed basic obedience training. His auto-immune condition is well-managed with Prednisone and in remission. Due to his herding instincts, Maverick needs a home without small children or cats. He's also reactive to passing bikes. The ideal home would be with an active family who enjoys hiking and can provide him plenty of space to run. He travels wonderfully in cars. Looking for experienced dog owners who understand the breed and can give Maverick the loving home he deserves.

Meet Jingles! He is a special guy whose tail jingles a mile a minute. He is a happy fella that may have been born with or experienced some previous trauma that has led to what we think are neurological and brain function, and mild depth perception issues. He's a busy boy with a lot of motion and circling. He likes toys, loves treats!! This doesn't seem to inhibit him from loving life, and wanting to have fun! He will need to find a family that not only has experience, but are also willing to take on the quirks that make him so special. He will need to meet everyone in the family prior to adoption, and we recommend no kids, teenagers are fine. Any dogs he is to live with need to be tolerant and non reactive. Positive reinforcement training is recommended to help teach him manners, he grabs at food so some caution is needed when giving treats.
