Story
Lilac is about a year old and 40 lbs. full grown.  She is a friendly border collie - needs to burn up her high energy - have a job, playmate, activities.  We just learned in foster home that she is good with small and big dogs....great news!  Also learned she can jump over a 6' fence when she is bored....  Very friendly*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Story
Meet super handsome boy Zulu! He is a 2-3 yrs old very sweet and loving dream dog! Zulu loves people and kids so much, definitely a people’s dog! He loves other dogs, both big and small ones! He’s also cat friendly! He is house trained. He’s full of energy and will chase balls but also likes to just play with the ball by himself. He also enjoys chewing bones when chilling in his bed. He will get a bit anxious when you leave the house because he loves people so much that he wants to be your little shadow to follow you everywhere. He is calm and mellow, mostly remains quiet, will only bark if the other dog barks at him first. Zulu was rescued from a highkill shelter right before euthanasia. His holiday wish is a loving forever home 🏡 to call his own! Zulu has been neutered, microchipped and currently on vaccines. He is ready to join your pack! Are you ready for him??

Story
Handsome lad Hunter, an Australian Kelpie, is about 5 years old and 40-45 lbs.  He was rescued with many others from a breeding kennel. He is still a bit shy with people, but he's had a lot of training here and has improved a lot. He likes kiddie pools. He has an overall nice disposition- he's one of the few kennel dogs that doesn't bark when people go by. He has made human and canine friendships and is ready for adoption into his own forever home now. Hunter is great with all dogs. Hunter's best friends are Dobie and Dougie, who are also available for adoption. He was part of a group of around 10 dogs that came to us from the Lucerne Valley kennels in 2021. They were rescued by Brandon McMillan and one of our staff after the kennel owner died. All the others except him and Sam have been adopted, and they've been doing well in their homes. Email an application (see beaglesandbuddies.com) to find the application forms and see all the other dogs here.*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Story
Aries is a border collie mixed with blue heeler, born 12-16-21 and 41 lbs. His owner was female but he was aggressive towards her husband and his dog. He was loving and well behaved with his owner, but too protective. Our dog trainer has been working with him, and she thinks he is adoptable to a very experienced owner. Aries is a reactive dog, if you introduce him properly to people and dogs he will be the most loving dog you've ever owned.  *Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available.
