Story
Meet Mosey Fields,  a very special  puppy  who is  just under one year old. Mosey has a neurological condition, most likely Cerebral Hypoplasia, which makes him a special-needs dog. Despite his challenges, Mosey is a joyful and big-hearted pup. We recently put him in a jacuzzi with a swim vest, and he learned a lot about connecting his body with his brain. Initially, Mosey used to squirm on the floor like a reptile, but now  he  walks and romps  around  without a harness. Although he still does well with a harness for stability, he can now walk  by himself  in a large carpeted bedroom area. Mosey has made  great  progress -  he  has learned to track, make eye contact, jump on and off the couch, and loves to cuddle. He has also been playful around other dogs and adores people. This little fighter will benefit from a wheelchair and  will  thrive in a loving home. Consider making him a part of your family, and he will return the love and continue to grow into the best version of himself. If you're interested in adopting Mosey, please fill out an application at www.doggiebonez.com. You can also check out our social media pages on Instagram (@Doggie_Bonez_Inc_) and Facebook (Doggie Bonez) to see more of Mosey's cuteness. Our dog adoption fee, which includes vaccinations, fecal testing, wellness exams, microchipping, spaying, or neutering, is $500. If adoption isn't feasible, please consider fostering one of our pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome new short or long-term doggie foster families. Doggie Bonez will provide you with everything you need, including dog food, a bed, toys, medical attention (if required), and more. So, if you're interested, please visit www.doggiebonez.com to see all of our available dogs who need a foster family while waiting for their forever home and complete the foster application.November 2, 2024, 7:31 pm

Bulleit IS AVAILALBE (updated 02-14-2025).To meet any of our dogs you must first complete our online adoption application on our website. For more information and the adoption application for Bulleit, please visit our website belowhttp://www.coastalgsr.org/dog_profile.php?ID=22832&name=BulleitBulleit is one of five puppies that recently came to Orange County to join the Coastal GSR family. He and his siblings appear to be a mix of Australian Shepherd and possibly German Shepherd. Bulleit misses his siblings but has been trying hard to make new friends with his foster siblings. He loves to snuggle with the younger dog and he has his eye on her toys!. Bulleit is sweet, smart, and playful.Bulleit and his siblings were found in an Orange Grove by a Good Samaritan who brought them to his house. Originally there were 8 puppies and the original foster found homes for three. The puppies did not appear to have been in the Orange Grove for very long. They were in good shape and were very social and playful. When Bulleit came to us, he was one of the thinnest puppies. He is eating several small meals a day and slowly putting on weight. He likes to wander around the foster family&#39s yard and explore. Following his explorations, he is very happy to sit on the couch with his foster dad and nap. He can use a dog door and takes himself outside to go potty.Bulleit is a very well-rounded puppy who will be a fun companion for any family. The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.February 14, 2025, 1:40 pm

She appears to be a mix of Australian Shepherd and possibly German Shepherd. She is the largest of the puppies and is very confident, sharp, and playful. She and her sister Breanna are in a foster home with three other dogs and little Britta would like to be the leader of the pack.Britta and her siblings were found in an Orange Grove by a Good Samaritan who brought them to his house. Originally there were 8 puppies and the original foster found homes for three. The puppies did not appear to have been in the Orange Grove for very long. They were in good shape and were very social and playful. Britta would do best in a home that has some Shepherd or big dog experience. She is very bright and learns quickly. She can use a dog door already and is 99% housebroken. She knows not to relieve herself inside but if given the opportunity, she might take it. She needs an owner or family that will involve her in their lives and help her learn to be the best puppy possible. The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. Story
Meet Adoptable Lola! She’s a very affectionate and happy 3 year old Australian Shepherd/Sheepdog mix, around 80 lbs. She’s potty trained, and loves her crate. She has had some professional basic training. She is ecollar, muzzle, and prong collar trained. All these tools come with her to continue her push-button training. She knows sit, down, heel, leave it, wait, out, come, no, and crates on command. She also waits for the release command to eat. The guardian breeds in her makes her an amazing watch dog. She’s well behaved, and obedient. She loves to hike in the hills, and on the trail she has excellent off-leash recall. She also knows wait (and will stop and wait for you to catch up). She knows out (and will get out of the bushes in case of snakes). She’s great in the car for long periods on road trips, and the perfect camping/exploring  partner. Lola loves fetch, as well as playing with her toys, although tug is her very favorite type of play (if you’re strong enough). Lola was attacked by an off leash dog, so she has leash reactivity/fear of unknown dogs. She is working hard to overcome her fears, and needs an experienced adopter to continue her training back to neutral/non-reactivity. She is good with other calm dogs after proper introductions, and currently lives harmoniously with 3 males at her foster house. Sweet Lola can’t wait to meet you!  Interested in adopting this pet?
