Story
Meet sisters Harper and Hazel, five-month-old Australian Shepherd mixes. They now weigh around 25 pounds, but we expect them to mature to around 45-50 pounds. They both wear medium-length red, chocolate, and white coats; however, only Hazel has fluffy ears. They are a delight and do wonderfully with other dogs! Adopt Harper or Hazel and let them fill your life with joy! (ME, 11/4/24)**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.November 12, 2024, 12:05 pm

Story
Please contact Glenda (fairydogmother@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Harper is a one year old red merle Aussie Doodle that weighs 40 pounds.  She is friendly and quiet, with medium energy for an Aussie Doodle.  Harper is also on the smallish side.  She gets along well with other dogs and cats.  Harper loves kids and is the perfect family dog.  She is spayed, fully vaccinated, has been treated for parasites, is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm, flea and tick preventive.  Harper's tax deductible adoption fee of $800 supports the rescue and does not purchase a dog.  Application approval and adoption contract are required.November 9, 2024, 3:21 pm

Story
Pete is a four year old mini- aussie that weighs 20 pounds.  He came to another rescue as a retired breeder dog and transferred to Fairy Dogmother when space became limited there.  Pete is a happy, friendly, very sweet fellow that needs a quiet, stable home with people who have the time and patience to teach him how to be a house dog.  He gets along well with other dogs, but no cats here so that is unknown, so am going to err on the side of caution and say no cats.  I believe he would be good with kids who know  how to respectfully treat a dog.  Pete is now neutered, fully vaccinated, known to be heartworm negative and is on monthly flea and heartworm preventive.  His tax deductible adoption fee is a donation to the rescue in the amount of $600.November 10, 2024, 2:19 pm

Story
Sammy is a wonderful Australian Shepard. He is very sweet. He seems to have been abused by a male. So, it takes him a while to get close to people, particularly men. Just be patient and loving and he will return the love. Sammy has been with Sandy, a female Australian Shepard that looks like him, all his life and the two need to stay together.
