Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Huntsville, AL Meet Vigo! He is an 7 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 57 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Vigo is good around older children! No younger children, farm animals, cats, or dogs, due to his reactivity! Vigo bit the owner’s 8 month old child. Their nanny was watching her and they told them to not let her get close to Vigo. However, she crawled onto his bed while he was laying down and he bit her on the face. The owner is surrendering him because of his aggression towards their baby. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Vigo, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. Say hello to Duke!! He is an approx 3 year old Australian Shepherd that is the sweetest love bug ever! He loves dogs, cats, people, everything! His downfall is he will clear any fence and will come when he wants to. He is trained on invisible fence, however, and is very good with that! He will not escape a fence if you are in the yard with him but he just wants to be with his people so he will escape if left alone. Duke loves to play with other dogs and will do best in a home with a fun furry playmate. He would love an active family that will take him on adventures and let him snuggle with them at the end of the day. He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area. Pete is a four year old mini- aussie that weighs 20 pounds.  He came to another rescue as a retired breeder dog and transferred to Fairy Dogmother when space became limited there.  Pete is a happy, friendly, very sweet fellow that needs a quiet, stable home with people who have the time and patience to teach him how to be a house dog.  He gets along well with other dogs, but no cats here so that is unknown, so am going to err on the side of caution and say no cats.  I believe he would be good with kids who know  how to respectfully treat a dog.  Pete is now neutered, fully vaccinated, known to be heartworm negative and is on monthly flea and heartworm preventive.  His tax deductible adoption fee is a donation to the rescue in the amount of $600.November 10, 2024, 2:19 pm

Hi I'm Bunny! I'm sweet as sugar and have a gentle disposition. I have a bit of a limp from an old injury, but that doesn't slow me down, I just love going for walks and being with people! On top of all that, I have a strikingly beautiful white speckle in my dark coat - that makes me a real eye catcher!! I was lucky enough to go on a sleep-over at the home of an Ark volunteer, and got to show off what great house manners I have! I showed them that I ride great in a car, that I know how to use a dog-door and even better, I know when to use it! I'm clean and tidy in the house and just love cuddling, especially on the sofa and bed ! *The Adoption fee for Bunny is reduced/covered by adoption sponsorship donations When I arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed I am' game, the most guesses were that I'm a Border Collie / Retriever mix, but I know that's just a guess - I know what I am, I'm a Purebred Mix-Breed!! **Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only.
