Our dog is gentle and kind especially good with young children. She is a purebred mini Australian Shepherd from a sheep farm. She is 3 1/2 years old and we have been her only owners. Due to an increased traveling work schedule for 2025 and kids very involved with activities. We are out of town every single week. We feel guilty, leaving our dog constantly at the vet to be boarded. She loves the outdoors and activities with family members. She is healthy and active. She is house trained. She is our only pet so not sure how she would be around other pets. She is great for a family that wants to skip the puppy stage and have a healthy young adult dog to join their family. She is great for long walks and hikes.

Say hello to Duke!! He is an approx 3 year old Australian Shepherd that is the sweetest love bug ever! He loves dogs, cats, people, everything! His downfall is he will clear any fence and will come when he wants to. He is trained on invisible fence, however, and is very good with that! He will not escape a fence if you are in the yard with him but he just wants to be with his people so he will escape if left alone. Duke loves to play with other dogs and will do best in a home with a fun furry playmate. He would love an active family that will take him on adventures and let him snuggle with them at the end of the day. He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area. He is an amazing puppy who is ready for Foster to Adopt until rigtht before Christmas when he is neutered and will be ready for final adoption. Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Birmingham, AL Meet Tux! He is an 6 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 38 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Tux is nervous around strangers! He hasn’t been tested around older children. No younger children or dogs, due to his reactivity! He is on 10mg of fluoxetine daily. Tux has bitten the owner’s younger daughter 3 times. He first bit her when she poked him in the eye through a baby gate. He also bit her after she tried to take something from him. The third bite incident occurred while the owner had her back turned from her daughter, but she thinks it may have involved a goldfish. He nipped the owner’s mother twice. These incidents occurred when the owner was nursing her baby on the couch and her mother sat down next to her. He also nipped the owner’s father-in-law twice. One of those incidents occurred when her father-in-law tried to take a bone out of his mouth. The other incident occurred when they were watching football and her father-in-law jumped up and screamed. He also bit a trainer at their local dog daycare. The owner is surrendering him because of his bite history. They have done behavioral training, medication, and have kept him separate from people outside of their immediate family. If you think you can provide a great home for Tux, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions.
