Story
MEET ROCKY, a 1-year-old Australian Kelpie in need of a foster or forever home! Rocky is a very affectionate dog who loves both humans and dogs alike! He weighs only 40 lbs., and is a loving boy. Kelpies are intelligent dogs, believed to have been descended from Border Collies. They love to be stimulated with walks and other activities. Rocky would do best in an active home where his person or people work from home, or are retired, as he loves company. He'd also thrive in a home with another dog, though it's not a necessity. Please email for an application.

Story
Hi, Tassa is my name and if you want an all-around easy dog to get along with - I'm your girl! I love to swim, run, and play. I can already imagine all the fun things we could do together. But I am also very content to lay by your feet and just chill. Don't worry - I'll periodically give you my paw to let you know I'm there and available for cuddling. I don't need constant attention, but I'll take as much as you want to give.I can be a bit shy when we first meet but I warm up quickly and then we are best friends.I am still a young girl who is very curious and learning new things all the time. I getting pretty good at walking on a leash without pulling - and with your help, I'm sure I'll be perfect soon! And did I mention I love treats? I already know how to sit for a treat. Being food-motivated makes it easy to train me. I get along great with most dogs after we are introduced, but I can be a bit vocal with dogs that I don’t know. Once we are introduced, we're good friends. In fact, I go for walks on our La Paz Malecon every Wednesday just so I can meet new dogs and people and be a social girl. If you like a great dog - who has the energy to play when you are ready, will chill and lay at your feet while you work, and be ready for cuddles when it's time -- I'm definitely the girl for you.If you think we could have a happy life together, then just click on the "Apply to Adopt" button. I will be waiting for you!Lots of love to giveTassa To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.

I will be a little shy when I first meet you and your family, but I will warm up quickly.I love to play with other dogs and kids too. It is so much fun to give hugs and kisses. I can be very funny, and I love to play with balls, and going to the beach is my favorite thing. I don’t swim but I can play on the shore for hours. I know how to listen, and I catch on very quickly to what you want me to do. I know most of my basic commands. I know I need to go outside to do my potty.I love to run and be active and athletic so if you are into that too, we could be amazing together. If it sounds like we could be a match, then just fill in an application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give,Trixie To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
Welcome Dixie to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 9-month old Smooth Coated Collie/Kelpie is our best guess on breed. She weighs 50 pounds. She is very very loyal to her people and would be great with someone wanting a dog to go with you places or if you work from home and want a loyal partner. She is crate trained, potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She was found as a stray and her foster mom has been putting this girl through dog training. She is doing really good in her classes and is learning some more basic commands. She is a higher energy dog and would be great for a runner, jogger or hiker type person. She is lower on the shed scale. She has a lot of personality and would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Her best home would be with a fenced yard. She could run and play off some energy. She likes you to be outside with her as she wants to be around her family over exploring the yard all along without you. She would be fine with children as well. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccinations, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland(Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. We can put you in touch with her foster mom after you put in and get your application approved. We can also set up a meet and greet if you are local in Texas. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

Story
Meet Dana🖤 She was brought to Korean city shelter pregnant and gave birth to 8 puppies. They were rescued all together. While all of well-raised puppies found their forever families and left the Adogs Center, only Dana stayed to wait for her family. * With People: Tends to be shy at first, but opens up quickly if people approach her slowly. Once she feels comfortable, she becomes affectionate and enjoys asking people to pet her. Due to some past trauma, she is a bit afraid of adult men. * With Dogs: Gets along well with her dog friends without any issues, but she may growl with jealousy if another dog intervenes. She is currently undergoing training to manage her anger when a dog friend doesn’t respond to her invitation to play. * Potty Training: Has only outdoor potty breaks at the center. * Growls from time to time when she feels jealous of another dog friend or if the dog ignores her signal to play, so caution is necessary. * Is afraid to be trapped alone in the room, so she needs separation anxiety training from the start.

Story
Meet Bear! Bear is a big handsome boy who is very affectionate and gentle :D He was rescued from High-kill shelter that runs by city by our rescue team. Behaviours : Bear is a gentle and a lovely boy who loves people – He doesn’t have any aggressive behaviours or doesn’t bark often(He barks at breakfast and dinner because he wants to be fed as soon as possible). Even when his dog friends bother him a lot, he might express that he doesn't like it, but he wouldn't attack them. He is ok with bath and grooming, but teeth cleaning and ear cleaning aren't his favorite. Though- he won't bite you~ He is a gentle boy ;) He has a good walking manner, but he can't have long walk at the moment, because his hind legs gets uncomfortable (We're working on his diet to improve his hind leg issue). He is an adorable big boy who has gentle soul with so much love in him! He will ADORE you!! Allergy/health issues: He has no allregy issue. He is on diet and we're trying to get him more muscle around his knees, because of his hind legs. We hope losing weight will improve his hind legs :) *Please send all inquiries to @everlove8282. *Please submit your applications through the application form on our Instagram profile! Our team will carefully consider each of your applications to find the perfect forever homes for our dogs. *As all of our dogs are currently in South Korea, there will be an adoption fee of 700USD + customs fee (if applicable) for each dog.

Story
Animal Profile: Ames is an approximately 18 month old, 40 lb neutered cattle dog mix that joined us from New Mexico on 12/4/23. He was surrendered by a finder who held him temporarily and reported he was good with dogs. Foster Update:  While shy at first, Ames, or Sparky as he is known in his foster home, is an incredibly loyal pup who loves to play tug and fetch when he’s not snoozing the day away. This handsome boy has a playful yet gentle demeanor. He is crate and house trained and loves his toys! He will play on his own if you're not available by throwing his toys in the air and catching them. Ames is highly intelligent and really thrives with structure, training, and most importantly play! He is happiest when rough housing with another dog. He can play for hours and will do best in a home with another playful dog his size or larger. He is food motivated and a fast learner, picking up on commands like sit, lie down, touch, spin, and shake. Ames will do best in a quiet home, with adopters who are able to provide strong leadership and continue to help build his confidence.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued from Roswell, New Mexico.  He arrived on 12/4 and is now available for adoption in the greater Seattle area after evaluation in foster care. November 6, 2024, 5:36 pm
