Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi friends! My name is Dochi. I’m about 1-year old and weigh around 40 pounds.  I appear to be a kelpie mix, but that’s just my best guess.  I’m a very sweet, slightly nervous girl ready to learn all the things that good dogs do! I don’t bark, jump or shed much and I really like exploring new things. Sometimes loud noises and new people make me nervous.  I like a slow introduction and then we can be friends! I’m just now getting acquainted with all of the best things in life like car rides, walks, toys and scratches from nice people.  So far it’s all pretty amazing, but I still have a lot I need to learn.  Maybe you can teach me! I’m currently working on crate and potty training.  I’ve really got the crate figured out and I’m starting to get the hang of this potty thing too, if you keep me on a schedule.  I sleep all night in my crate and I don’t make a sound! I even go in on my own just to relax.  It’s a great place for me when I’m feeling anxious.  Like any young dog, I love to run and play! Wrestling with my foster brother is new and fun, but I can be a bit bossy at times. I do need some kind of exercise every day, especially in the morning.  This helps me feel calmer throughout the day.  As far as leashed walks go, I’m just now getting used to being on a leash.  I’m making progress and getting used to how it works.  If you spend a little time showing me what to do, I’ll be a super-star! I’m currently living with kitties in my foster home, but we’re leading separate lives because I tend to chase them.  Something you should definitely know about me—I’m REALLY going to love you and want to spend ALL of my time right by your side!  I’m a velcro kind of dog and want to be your constant companion. Want to know another fun fact about me?  I like to nibble when I’m happy.  My foster family calls me The Nibbler. This isn’t really chewing, just my way of saying I’m happy.  I haven’t been around kids much, but respectful, gentle kids over about 12 years old are probably good for me. If you think we’d be a good fit, apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 25, 2025, 8:19 pm

Story
Luna is a 6-year-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix, turning 7 in June. She is playful, obedient, and highly intelligent. She knows many tricks and can learn more. Once she trusts you, she is a big cuddler but does not lick or slobber. She loves playing catch, sprinting in open spaces, and tug-of-war. She is kennel trained and does not destroy things, knowing her toys from other items. However, Luna has fear-based aggression and takes time to warm up to strangers, barking until she feels safe. She has bitten when strangers got too close, but she will not attack if given space. Training can help, but it requires time and patience. She also sheds a lot and may steal food from counters if within reach. Luna would thrive with a single owner or a couple without kids who are committed to working on her aggression. She would also do well on a ranch, where she has plenty of space to run and tasks to keep her engaged.

Story
Chris 435-881-5476He is very sweet and obedient once you get to know him, but he is stubborn, needs lots of mental/physical stimulation and he is very anxious/high-strung. We took him to petsmart training classes but he just cannot function well anywhere outside of our home or if we have people over to visit. He is very protective of his family which is unfortunately a double edge sword as he feels he needs to be on high alert when anyone is around. He has never bitten anyone but he has nipped at a few people who have tried to get too comfortable, too quickly. He deserves someone who has the time and experience necessary to give him a life that he deserves.
