Story
We love Minny`s spirit for life. She has plenty of energy, a will to play and self confidence. She`s in a foster home having the time of her life, collecting up and testing her own set of toys and practicing her comedian skills. She loves to lounge around a pool (and never actually jump in) and dress up the patio space with her pretty self and then relax later indoors. Of course she`s fully housetrained and can stay home alone. Experience all the benefits of a wise dog that`s really well balanced with a zest and love for adventure and life. She`s also a great size at under 50lbs. Have a dog friend that needs a firm leader? We`ll schedule a doggie meetup. She`s ready to be full and center and stayed with another dog while she was in the shelter. She`s advocated for by her friends and fans including ClassicCaninesATX. Reach out on her link to talk with her foster provider to see if she`s the one you`ve been waiting for.

Story
Toast is such a cool dog who really needs out of the shelter . As a Kelpie mix, he`s a `working` dog, meaning he really needs a job to do. When she can make the time, Toast`s shelter friend sets up an enrichment yard to keep his very smart brain engaged. Toast loves puzzle toys, snuffle mats, lickimats with peanut butter, and long-lasting bully sticks. But he`d probably love a job even more! The shelter is very stressful for Toast - he needs a home with a lot of mental engagement, a fenced in yard or space to run run run! Once he`s gotten his energy out, Toast will reward you with affection - tail wags and kisses from this guy.Toast goes to playgroup at the shelter and lives with another pup so he can likely go to a home with a doggy sibling. Do you know someone or are you that someone who can give Toast the home he`s waiting for?

Story
On November 11, 2018, Simon and Travis came into our world. Two precious little boys that were part of a 22 dog, court ordered seizure. Three rescues were involved, and vets were on standby, waiting for the dogs to be captured and delivered. When we arrived at the location , there were 22 numbered collars on a table , cadaver bags available. As the dogs are caught, they are crated in the closest vehicle. Once the vehicle is full it heads to the clinic. The dogs were in serious condition. Purebreds, mixes, pregnant, you name it. Whatever dog(s) end up in your vehicle, you take. After being released from the vet,the boys arrived at Lucies and were put in major quarantine for a month. We noticed that they seemed to have a fondness for each other. Carrying on little conversations through the fence. They were overjoyed when we put them into a yard together. We also noticed that they were similar in a number of ways. They insist on eating and sleeping together, although they curse each other in their very own language while they do it. We have no doubt that they are brothers. In all the chaos that day, Simon and Travis were loaded into Lucies vehicles. Luck??? Please pardon the length of this post, we can’t split them up. Last month they received a clean bill of health and are ready for adoption. Please share their story, there has to be someone that needs some laughter and love in their lives. Simon and Travis are crate and leash trained. They will follow off lead. Kid and K9 friendly. Approximately 6 years old and weighing about 35-40 pounds. Thanks y’all 🐾💙! *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home. Phone interviews are required for all adoptions****
