Story
Rosa and Paco are a remarkable bonded 4-year-old pair who need a patient adopter who is experienced with feral dogs. These two were rescued in November 2020 from a hoarding case and are considered feral. They’re a little leary of pretty much everything around them except for each other! They are very sweet but just too nervous to let you get super close. Paco and Rosa are two souls with a unique story that speaks volumes about resilience, loyalty, and the transformative power of love. Having embarked on a somewhat feral journey, Paco and Rosa found themselves navigating the challenges of a smaller dog pack, where survival was their primary focus. Yet, beneath the layers of their initial shyness, a boundless potential to thrive in a loving home awaits. These two companions share an unbreakable bond—a testament to the strength found in friendship and the unwavering loyalty they have for each other. Though their past may have shaped them, Paco and Rosa now stand at the threshold of a new chapter, ready to blossom as they learn to trust and embrace the warmth of a caring home. Together, Paco and Rosa create a unique sense of security and comfort, providing each other with the support needed to flourish. Their journey is not just a story of survival but a beautiful testament to the resilience of animals and the transformative effects of love and care. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up-to-date on vaccines, deworming, heartworm tested, a supply of heartworm preventative, and microchip. If you would like to set up a meet and greet with these two, please fill out an interest-to-adopt form at www.scdrm.com, and we’ll be in touch!

Story
Aggie is an approximately 10 year old heeler who is a puppy in disguise! We love this old man so much!! He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. He seems to be house broken and uses a doggie door. He is overweight with a fatty lipoma on his belly that is not causing any issues. We want him to go to someone who won’t overfeed him so he can get healthier. He was dumped in a Houston park and we want him to have a great retirement home!! He needs a secure fence for his safety. Adoptable within one hour of Granbury, Tx. Adoption fee is $100. Applications can be found at www.scftx.org/adopt

Story
**Meet Luda: Your Future Adventure Buddy! 🐾** Age: 18 Months Weight: 33 lbs Breed: Double Merle Miniature Australian Shepherd Status: Neutered, Vaccinated, Microchipped Hello, potential forever family! My name is Luda, and I’m an 18-month-old double Merle miniature Australian Shepherd with a heart full of love and an abundance of energy! Weighing in at 33 lbs, I’m the perfect size for adventures, and if you’re looking for a furry companion to join you on hikes, runs, or spontaneous outings, then look no further—I’m your guy! I thrive on activity and am always ready to play. Whether it's chasing a ball, exploring the great outdoors, or showing off my tricks, I promise to keep you entertained and on your toes! I want to share that I am deaf, which means I may require some extra patience and understanding when it comes to training and communication. But don’t worry—I’m a quick learner and eager to bond with my new family! I’m trained to a Halti, which helps to manage my energy during walks and makes outings more enjoyable for both of us. However, due to my high energy levels, I may be too much for some dogs, so I would do best in a home where I can be the main focus or with a fellow pup who can keep up with my enthusiasm. I’m neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, so I’m all set to find my forever home. I would be happiest with an active family or individual who can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to keep me happy and healthy. I love being around people and would thrive in a home where I can be part of the action! I am adoptable within 5 hours of Granbury, Tx and do require a secure fenced yard for my safety. You will be required to show proof of heartworm prevention for current and/or past dogs to keep me healthy. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who will bring joy, laughter, and endless adventures into your life, I can’t wait to meet you! Together, we can make unforgettable memories. Let’s embark on this incredible journey together! **Ready to adopt Luda? Contact us today!** 🐶❤️ Adoption fee is $200 Www.scftx.org/adopt
