These two were rescued in November 2020 from a hoarding case and are considered feral. They’re a little leary of pretty much everything around them except for each other! They are very sweet but just too nervous to let you get super close. Paco and Rosa are two souls with a unique story that speaks volumes about resilience, loyalty, and the transformative power of love. Having embarked on a somewhat feral journey, Paco and Rosa found themselves navigating the challenges of a smaller dog pack, where survival was their primary focus. This friendly and unique three year old cattle dog/Shepard mix came to the shelter as a stray. Everyone assumed an owner would come because Roman was picked up with a medical cone on him due to a skin infection. Our rescue was called, and we got him to the vet. They confirmed he had a skin infection, but assured us he was otherwise a healthy dog. With medication, his hair is grown back, and he is looking and feeling great. Roman is a great size at 34 pounds and is potty & crate trained. He enjoys playing outside and loves to play ball.
