Story
This Australian Kelpie mix is simply b-e-a-UTIFUL! Meet Alice, a sweet southern doggo from Central Texas. This poor girl has been through a lot in her young life. Once dumped in a parking lot at Animal Care Services, she has had a tough time finding an owner with the right lifestyle to suit her needs. Alice is energetic, social and eager to please. She enjoys romping about with other dogs in her foster environment and would thrive in a home with other pets. She is also very trusting and friendly towards people of all sizes! Despite Alice’s playful nature, she is quick to relax on the cool floor and accept belly rubs. She is a TV addict, too, and will binge all of your favorite shows with you. Not to mention, Alice is fully potty-trained and even knows how to use a doggy door! If you are looking for a young pup with the potential to be your most faithful companion, apply to meet Alice! She is the perfect dog for all of your outdoor adventures and indoor chill sessions!

Story
I acquired Luna at around 10 months from a co-worker., she is a rescue. Luna is currently about 3 years of age. I gave Luna to a family member when she was a year old, but I recently got her back. She is spayed and has up to date vaccinations. She is very protective of family, shy and cautious around new people. She loves to play with cats and other dogs when she's used to them around. I have taken her to doggy daycare and dog parks before. She has received basic training, but is still working on a few things. I'm looking to rehome her due to financial problems.

Story
Ryder is about 4 years old and 35lbs. he is an inside dog and hates being in yards alone for a long time. he is house and create trained. he jumps and gets very excited about playing and being with people but he calms down when he's comfortable. he loves to cuddle and play fetch. he can be okay with other dogs and kids. he is not fixed or microchipped. he barks as he's overprotective however he has never been agressive because he's scared of almost everything. he's very energetic and is willing to play all day. he is very goofy and silly! he deserves a loving home that will cherish him!! I will provide a crate for him, toys, treats, leash & collar, grooming products, food bowls, and a food storage container.

Story
Located in New Braunfels Tx. Rehoming fee of $50. Hi, im PENNY! I am a 3 year old Kelpie mix. My foster mom rescued me after my family left me at the well known travel stop, Bucees. Lonely, hungry, and scared, I waited for them to come back for me for a week but they never returned. Luckily my foster mom brought me home with her and gave me a nice bath and food in my belly and a comfy bed to sleep in. I am now fully vetted, spayed, & HW positive but please don't let that stop you from adopting me. I think Id do best In a home with no cats or smaller animals. I do well with my big brother who’s a German shepherd. Peanut butter and pup cups are the way to my heart. I know basic commands like sit, lay down, shake, stay and I am completely house trained! I am one loyal companion and I cant wait to give you all of my love and affection!

Story
Introducing Auburn! Auburn is a beautiful Cattle Dog / Heeler mix who is approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 30 pounds. We rescued this gorgeous gal from the Hondo, TX shelter and although we don’t really know much bout he background, it is clear that people have not always been very kind to her. During her spay surgery, our vet discovered that she had been shot in the leg with a pellet gun. All of that is behind her now and we are excited to help this sweet girl find the loving home she deserves. Auburn is a gentle and curious. She needs someone who will go slow with her so that she can feel comfortable knowing that she will be treated kindly. Once she feels safe, she loves getting attention and affection. She gets along well with the other dogs in her playgroup and is happy and playful! With patience and lots of love we know Auburn will blossom and become a wonderful, loving companion to her new family. She is just waiting for that special person to understand her! She has a heart of gold and shows ZERO aggression of any kind. Sweet, submissive and needs one on one time and love, that we cannot give her here at the rescue. Auburn is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $325. A meet and greet will be arranged with an approved application. Auburn tested positive for Chagas disease and has started her treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. Story
We began to foster this dog, because my coworker wasn't able to care for her anymore. They were going to send her to a kill shelter and I couldn't bear to see that happen. She is incredible sweet, loves my kids, is potty trained, love to play fetch and will bring the ball back, doesn't run off when the door is opened, and is able to kennel on request. She doesn't like other dogs or small animals, and she takes some time to get to know you before she trusts you. She really is a great dog, but I was recently diagnosed with cancer and can no longer care for her the way she needs.
