She loves to lounge around a pool (and never actually jump in) and dress up the patio space with her pretty self and then relax later indoors. We have had Foxy and her sister since they were pups, born Sept 23, 2023. Foxy is smart and a sweet tempered dog. She likes to play catch, she loves to swim, play tug-of-war, and chase with other dogs. She has never hurt a child or dog. I must rehome her because, if given an opportunity, she chases chickens and sheep. Foxy is trained to respond to basic commands, she even obeys a six-year-old who plays with her often. She has been a great dog around kids and other dogs, but I cannot trust her around other animals. Perhaps cows would be okay; she weighs about 38 lbs. I do attribute her presence and barking to scaring away predators who come for our sheep and chickens. She lives outside in a small yard, with a warm sleeping area. Foxy would like a larger play area, free of chickens and baby livestock. She travels well in a car or the back of a pick-up truck around the land. Thank for considering her.

Meet Bella! She is a very sweet 2 year old female Kelpie/GSD mix, and is UTD on shots, spayed, and on monthly heartworm/flea preventative. Bella has undergone successful heartworm treatment and is now heartworm negative! Bella doesn’t do great with small dogs (under 20lbs) but she’s perfect with all other dogs, male and female. Bella is very kid friendly. She is more of a submissive, low key dog, with bursts of energy but 90% of the time wanting to be by your feet laying down sleeping. She does need some work on leash manners and not jumping on guests when they enter the house. Bella does not bark at all. She does whine a bit in her crate at first but quickly stops. She is completely housebroken and crate trained. She’s the sweetest dog who just wants love all day every day and to spend every waking moment by the people she loves. Big and small. Mousey is an adorable dog and will make a perfect family pet! She loves all other dogs and romps and plays all day at the ranch with many other breeds...kind of like a dog park in reverse. She came from a very high-kill shelter in California and had been dumped as a puppy in the hard streets of a high-crime area. She had one friend in the world, Sopita, who was also saved by Dogtown. When she first got to the ranch, she could not be separated from her friend, but she quickly found a hundred other buddies and learned that life can be a good thing after all. Little Lucy was saved being given away in front of a store to just anyone. Luckily our good friend and fellow rescuer at Dogtown Ranch scooped up Little Lucy. All of her littermates died, but thanks to Dogtown, Lucy has survived. She is super gentle and a very calm dog for a little puppy.
