Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Knoxville, TN Meet Theo! He is an 2 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 37 lbs. He is neutered and on heartworm prevention, but isn’t up to date on shots (except for rabies). Theo is nervous around strangers! He is good with older children and cats! He hasn’t been tested around younger children. No dogs, due to his reactivity! Theo is housebroken and crate-trained. The owner is surrendering him because he doesn’t get along with their other dogs. They have worked with 3 different trainers and they all said he would do best as the only dog. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Theo, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Theo. Owner’s Contact Information: Kaitlynn at kaitlynnc2620@icloud.com

Story
In Maryville Jaxie Boy or "Jax" is a 3 yr old 23lb happy go lucky Aussie in Maryville TN! He has quickly melted his foster mom's heart with his sweet nature. Most days, Jax would love to cuddle, nap, and play once in a while, but mainly cuddle! He does well on a leash, and hasn't shown any signs of aggression with other animals, though he will eat quickly if he thinks another animal wants his food. Jax, though very sweet is a timid boy. Most strangers he will avoid and hide from, especially at the vet. The vet can be very hard to visit. As for strangers at home, he will eventually warm up to them, it just takes time. Since Jax is skittish, he would be great for a homebody or on car rides where he can be checked on consistently! He likes to play outside but he tends to play for a little before wanting to return inside and nap! Jax does have separation anxiety and would do great with someone who can check on him a couple of times a day! Overall Jax is incredibly sweet who just needs someone patient to show him love! 🐾If Jaxie Boy sound like your guy please fill out the application so we can schedule a meet n' greet!! https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registation and transfer to his new furever family.
