Story
Momma Donna is a Kelpie/Heeler mix girl that gave birth 3 months ago to 8 beautiful, wonderful Heeler puppies. This girl is 2 years old and only 42 pounds.  She is amazingly smart and seems to know exactly what you are saying to her.  We think that Momma Donna would be a perfect addition to a home with children who want to play and teach a dog some good tricks and manners.  She is willing to learn anything. Momma Donna is nicely housebroken and ready for a totally great and new life.  Momma Donna just needs a place to belong.   So, do you have a front porch and a hole in your heart ready to be filled by a loving and devoted dog who wants to walk down the road with you every day?   Please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  if you are interested in Momma Donna.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 3, 2024, 10:10 pm

Story
This is Georgia! We rescued her from Georgia about 3 weeks ago (hence the name) and we simply cannot keep up with her energetic and playful needs. We have a grouchy older chihuahua that refuses to play with her and simply wont entertain her playful nature. We hope to find someone with an active lifestyle and maybe no other pets. She is well trained (knows sit, lay, paw, down) and sleeps in a crate at night. Potty trained and eats kibble with ease. she is loving and sweet, wants to sit on the couch very much (we are trying to train her not to) and is extremely playful and energetic with other similar sized dogs. We dont know her story from before - but we hope to make sure it ends happily ever after. Included with adoption: dna and age test. We’ve been told 4yrs and husky/ lab but this will ensure it

These pups are in Franklin, Tennessee too!

Story
Please contact Vivienne (viviennejames@comcast.net) for more information about this pet.Meet Miss Princess!  This 8 year old 30 lbs gem had a horrible life prior to joining the Cavalry.  She was part of a hoarding case where the family had way too many dogs and could not properly take care of them.  Because of this Princess and her doggie family ended up in a rural Tennessee shelter.  She was a thin has could be and very weak.  Miss Cheryl and her mom Ruth felt sorry for her and decided to rescue her.  An immediate trip to the vet was scheduled.  Princess was diagnosed with long term untreated diabetes.  This was the reason she was so thin.  What a sham that no one noticed the symptoms but them.  Poor Princess almost died.  Her vet was truly amazed that she lived.  Her diabetes is now under control and she has gained weight.  Princess is one of the sweetest dogs ever.  She is a true love bug and so very grateful for the love and care she has received.  She is thriving and would make someone a great pet.  Unfortunately as a result of the diabetes Princess has limited vision.  She is amazing though.  After she gets the 'lay of the land' you would never know it.  She does not bump into things and can navigate stairs up and down.  It truly is amazing.  She is a very loving dog who just wants to be with her people.  If you want a canine shadow then she is the one for you.  Despite her lack of vision, Princess enjoys walking and you would never know her sight is limited.  She is a dog that you could take any where.  Princess loves to ride in the car an is always up for a trip just about any where.  She has been on several with her foster family.  She is housebroken and crate trained.  She is also trained to sit patiently snacking on a baby carrot when it is shot time.  The distraction of the carrot does the trick so giving the insulin shot is not a problem.  She is good with other dogs her size and age but not young rambunctious puppies or dogs.  She would also be fine as an only dog.  She would be happy to soak up all the attention.  If you would like to give a home to a wonderful special needs dog, Princess is the one for you.  To be considered for her forever family please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  November 3, 2024, 10:10 pm

Story
Emmaleigh is a beautiful 6-month-old Australian Shepherd/border collie mix girl that weighs 28 lb and is looking for a family to love. This sweet girl and her sisters were seen being thrown out of a truck on a rural country road and cruelly abandoned. All three of the puppies went running after the truck and one was actually hit by a car but has recovered now. A very kind couple witnessed this cruelty in the making and quickly gathered up the puppies and took them home to their property where they could be fostered and vetted. Emmaleigh loves to run and play with her sisters and to enjoy the freedom of a place to run and people to love her. She is a tad shy at first but warms quickly when she realizes that you mean her no harm. All Emmaleigh wants to do in life is love someone and to be loved in return. She is joyful and happy as she runs around her foster yard.  Her beautiful blue eyes will pierce your soul and heart and will beg you to accept her just the way she is. She will be a 40 to 45 lb adult beauty and we hope that someone discovers her special gift of love very soon. Story
Meet Alice, our darling brown and white girl that has the most memorable face and sky high ears you have ever seen.   This girl was born around the middle of May and is thought to be combination of lots of breed influences.   For starters we think that Cattle Dog and Aussie might be a mixture that are dominant for her.  She is one smart little girl that adorable her foster family and all the other big dogs (several German Shepherds are her mentors and big sisters) and many foster cats are present as well in the home.  Her boundless happy puppy energy catapults her through the days as she grows in to a true beauty inside and out.  She is so playful and loving and always ready for the next BIG ADVENTURE!  She loves to chase toys and explore the backyard for new things to do and maybe a few squirrels to make friends with.  She absorbs whatever you teach her like a sponge.  Her foster mom is an excellent trainer and knows the importance of teaching manners and commands.  Her friendly nature makes her easy to meet new people and she is does not shy away from new experiences either.  She is a snuggler when she is tired and very loving as she sits beside you to watch a good TV show.  This girl will be an excellent recall pup since she is learning that now and is so eager to please and be with her humans.  If you are interested in this beauty who will grow to be a 45-50 pound girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Let us know where you live: city and state when you are inquiring.
