Story
Jade and her siblings were dumped in a rural NC county and surrendered to the local shelter. She’s estimated to be around 12 weeks old and judging by her paws she’s got some growing to do (best guess she ends in the 60lb range). She is a typical puppy who loves to play and chew on anything she can find. She is unfazed by her larger foster siblings! She’s doing great with potty training and is working on crate training. Jade's adoption fee is $300 which includes remaining vaccinations, microchip, and spay If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and fill out an application. www.thefosterdoghouse.org

Story
Georgi was a year old as of September, 2024 and probably doesn't weigh 30 pounds. This girl loves everyone she meets so far and loves to play with other dogs. She has a lot of play energy and would need a companion dog in the home to have the same play energy. She definitely has an Aussie temperament and would do best with an active family with room for her to run. She is house and crate trained, walks on a leash, used a doggy door in previous home and loves attention and toys. She has never been around cats so we can't offer an opinion on how she is with cats. This girl is such a a love bug and so smart. She just chills out when I bring her in the office with me. Georgi is spayed, microchipped and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. Story
Cora was born October 26, 2022 and what a beauty. She does well with all adults here and has been around children with no problems. She is energetic and playful which is typical of this working breed once she gets to know you. Cora has the typical shyness of strangers that comes with the breed and may not come running to you when you visit but we have had no nippy issues with her. She loves the guys that clean the kennels and loves to snuggle with them. She would do best with room to run. She is okay with some dogs but not others. So, a home with no other dogs may be best for now. She has not been around cats and we can't offer an opinion on how she is with cats. She is house and crate trained, walks on a leash and knows basic commands. We think she would do best with an adult home right now that is a bit on the quiet side and that has patience while she adjusts to her new surroundings. A country home would be awesome! Cora is spayed, microchipped and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org. That is also where our most current list of adoptable pets is located. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 18, 2025, 1:00 pm
