Momma Donna is a Kelpie/Heeler mix girl that gave birth 3 months ago to 8 beautiful, wonderful Heeler puppies. This girl is 2 years old and only 42 pounds.  She is amazingly smart and seems to know exactly what you are saying to her.  We think that Momma Donna would be a perfect addition to a home with children who want to play and teach a dog some good tricks and manners.  She is willing to learn anything. Momma Donna is nicely housebroken and ready for a totally great and new life.  Momma Donna just needs a place to belong.   So, do you have a front porch and a hole in your heart ready to be filled by a loving and devoted dog who wants to walk down the road with you every day?   Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in Momma Donna.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation WAIVED if picked up in TN, $100 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Meet Burt, a joyful, goofy and lovable mixed breed pup looking for his forever home! Burt is just over one year old and weighs in at 53 pounds. With his possible Australian Kelpie and Mountain Cur heritage, Burt brings a perfect blend of playfulness and smarts. In a familiar environment, he's a happy medium-energy dog who enjoys making his humans laugh. One of Burt's most endearing habits is his "yoga" pose, where he stretches out with his legs behind him. It's a sight that never fails to bring a smile! He has a particular fondness for squeaky toys, often carrying them around like prized possessions. Burt has gone thru a basic training course with his foster, leaning commands like Sit, Down, Place and going into his kennel on command. He is housetrained and has even started ringing bells on the back door to signal when he needs to go out. His crate training is impeccable, making him a great companion for someone who needs to be away during the workday. This charming pup loves belly rubs, ear scratches, running with other dogs, and digging for critters in the yard. While he can be timid around new people, especially men, he warms up quickly with treats and the presence of other dog friends. Although he's not a fan of cats or livestock, he would thrive in a home with a similarly energetic dog. Burt had a tough start in life. He was brought to us injured after being shot in the face, and there are still some bullet fragments lodged there. This makes him breathe (and snore) loudly and sometimes gives him a runny nose, but otherwise, he is not affected by his past injuries. Burt is looking for a loving home with a fenced yard where he can safely play and explore. His ideal family would be patient and willing to continue his training, helping him learn new tricks and build confidence. Burt's resilience and loving nature make him a truly special dog ready to bring joy to his new home. Meet this dog at Petco on Saturday, Nov 16th from 1-4 pm CST at Petco, 377 W. Jackson St #11 Cookeville, TN 38501.   Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. November 17, 2024, 11:33 am

Story
Misha is an approximately five year old Australian Cattle Dog mix who is looking for her forever home. She was abandoned by her original owner but someone stepped in and welcomed Misha into their home and horse farm, and quickly found she is accustomed to being on a farm around horses and other farm animals and where acclimated well to her new life. She is currently living with a foster family but is separated from the other dogs in the house as she needs to be the only dog. Misha is sweet, very energetic, and extremely intelligent. She can be hesitant when meeting new people, but after spending time and gaining trust she will melt your heart once you get to know her. Misha enjoys exercising and playing with her toys (especially her frisbees). She loves to play outside and would be best as an only dog with a large yard to run, or even a farm to put her to work and keep her busy! Our adult dog adoption fee is $350 which includes each animal is fixed, up to date on core vaccines, microchipped, heartworm &/or 4dx tested, kept on monthly preventions, and dewormed. If you are interested in adopting any of our animals please fill out an application on our website lastchanceranch.org. PA Kennel License #4518

Story
Meet Tex, a sweet boy of about 9 months. A true cattle dog! Their foster parents have been very attentive to him and his sister Charlie. It shows in their behavior and personalities. As you can see below, Tex LOVES water!!!! He thinks he is a fish!!! He loves play pools and if there's not a play pool, he will try to get in a 5gal bucket with his front paws. He's very playful and wants to be around people. Loves people! He has done well with our five dogs and a new barn cat. I would not recommend chickens. Sadly he wants to play with them! He would be wonderful in a family setting... We are only asking for transport cost to PA, RI or other states in which we travel to! These are two super sweet kind dogs and will provide your home with unconditional love and joyous laughter. Please pm us with any questions RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Meet Charlie, a sweet girl of about 9 months. A true cattle dog!! Their foster parents have been very attentive to her and her brother Tex, also listed. It shows in their behavior and personalities. As you can see below, Tex and Charlie really love each other. We wanted to adopt them as a bonded pair but it has proven to be to much. She loves to play pools and interact with people and other animals. Charlie has shown no aggression with the barn cats and they do not seem to bother her at all. She is very playful and wants to be around people. Loves people! She is a more laid back dog than Tex. Charlie has done well with our five dogs and a new barn cat. I would not recommend chickens.
