Story
Benny was born 11/09/2018. He was purchased from a breeder in 2019 by a friend and I took him in as a favor that same year and have had him ever since. But now that I’m married with a baby and a second baby on the way, we unfortunately do not have enough space in our little home for Benny. He would be best suited in a home with older children and not too many other animals. He has lived with cats before and does ok with some dogs but not all. He is very playful and loves chew bones, especially bacon or PB flavored. He also loves playing tug with rope toys, easily his favorite game. He is also very good at playing catch. He absolutely loves going on walks and is used to both rural and urban environments. He likes being brushed gently and his fur is on the longer side. I have always done his bathing and grooming myself so I have no idea how he would do at a professional groomer. Benny is loving and protective of his owners. Though he is not puppy anymore, he certainly plays like one!

Hi there, I’m Orion! They say I’m named after a constellation of stars, and you know what? I like to think that fits me just right. Like my celestial namesake, I might not always be the first one you notice in a crowd, but once you do, you’ll see I shine in my own special way. I’ve got a calm, laid-back vibe that’s a little different from your typical Australian Cattle Dog energy. Sure, I still enjoy a good walk or some playtime, but I’m also perfectly content lounging by your side, soaking up the love. Here’s another bright spot: I get along great with other dogs! Whether it’s a playmate in the yard or a buddy to share the couch with, I’m happy to make friends and share the good vibes. I was found wandering as a stray, so I’m still figuring out what it means to have a real home. I hear it’s pretty amazing, though, and I can’t wait to meet someone who’ll give me that chance. At almost 2 years old and 56 pounds, I’m just the right size to be your loyal companion without taking over your whole couch. I’m already neutered and ready to be the brightest star in your life.
