Hello, I'm Mila. I may be a senior, but my heart is full of warmth and affection. I'm sweet as honey, always ready to share a gentle nuzzle or a mellow moment. I might be a bit shy at first, but once we get to know each other, you'll see my loyalty knows no bounds. I'm just looking for a friend who can appreciate my quiet companionship. I promise to be the most faithful friend you've ever had. Why should you adopt me? Because everyone needs a loyal, loving soul like me in their life.

Story
Step onto the dance floor of life and meet Roomba, the Kelpie with moves that`ll make your heart skip a beat! This medium-sized marvel is like a whirlwind of energy, always ready to shake, shimmy, and strut her stuff. With her boundless enthusiasm and knack for keeping the party going, Roomba is the life of any gathering. But don`t let her smooth moves fool you—this pup has a voice to match her groove. From enthusiastic woofs to playful yips, she`s never shy about expressing herself (a home with no shared walls would be best). In the world of canine choreography, Roomba is the star of the show. But her lively personality comes with a twist: she`ll need an experienced owner who can help channel her energy and navigate her vocal prowess, especially when it comes to socializing with other dogs. Here at the shelter, Roomba`s bestie is Storm, and they spend hours together playing, so she does have the potential to live with another active dog. A meet and greet with potential doggie siblings is a must!Roomba is ready to take center stage in your heart. So if you`re prepared for a lifetime of laughter, love, and a whole lot of dancing, this Kelpie cutie is waiting for her cue to join your family! Call the East Region shelter to start the adoption process 416-338-PAWS (7297). We are open from 10:30AM to 6:30PM!

Story
PLEASE READ TRUFA’SS BIO IN DETAIL TO ENSURE THAT SHE WILL BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU AND YOUR LIFESTYLE BEORE APPLYING. PEASE NOTE: TRUFA IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE OTTAWA, ON AREA We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption. NAME: Trufa Age: 3 years Breed: Mexi-Mix Sex: Female Weight: 30 - 35 lbs Location: Ottawa, ON Adoption fee: $600.00 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Leash trained: Work in progress House trained: Yes Kids/Cats/Dogs: Yes, dogs, dog savvy cats, children 8+ Vetting: Up to date on all vaccination, sterilized, microchipped, 4dx tested: negative for Heart worm. Currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention, dewormed and vet checked before arriving. Medical Issues: Tested positive for Ehrlichia (tick borne disease) was treated with 30 days of doxycycline as per proper vetting protocol. Comes with 4 weeks free pet insurance (after initial vet visit) Our beautiful Trufa is a super sweet, affection and well behaved dog. She is relatively quiet in the house and loves to have her naps. She loves her new life since arriving here in Canada from Mexico where she did have a home of her own but unfortunately, her owner passed away so it was difficult her to enter a shelter. We want nothing more than her to be comfortable and happy with the perfect adopter in a home of her own. Trufa is a medium energy girl and would love a family who would be willing to take her on her daily walks and some fun adventures where she could explore the world and enjoy life in a forever home. She loves to sunbathe and to run in the yard as well as going for walks with her foster canine sister. Her ideal home would have a fenced in backyard or an apartment/condo as long as her exercise needs were met. She is good with dogs and can live with dog savvy cats. Trufa is bit jumpy but her foster is working on this. She does pull on her leash but with proper training we know she can overcome this small habit. She can be a little shy of new people and can be fearful of very loud noises that startle her which is why we feel children 8+ would be best for her. She is calm in the house and we know she can be the perfect dog for someone that fits her needs. If you feel you would be the right fit for Trufa, please fill out an adoption application at https://www.allpawsmatter.ca/apply-to-adopt/ All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety. NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed. BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
