Story
JONESY MALE 3.5 YRS 28 POUNDS We're not sure what Jonesy's life was like before he was rescued, but seems like it was a ruff one. He was found injured laying in a ditch ( after being hit by a car) His front leg was dislocated and had several other injuries. Thank fully he was found and taken in for some help. He had his front leg fixed and meds to help heal the rest. He came to AJs happy and ready for his next steps to finding a forever home. He still had a slight limp so xrays were taken and there was a suspicious looking area on his rear leg that needed to be further examined. This week he had his follow up, with a new set of xrays, and all though he does have some arthritis. Day to day he has no issue and is happy and healthy. He is on a joint supplement to help promote healthy joints, but no medication. He also has a notch of his ear missing from some prior incident that we dont know anything about. He is a friendly dog who seems to do well with everyone. He is dog friendly, but seems edgy around pushy male dogs. He is overly interested / seems to have a prey drive, so cats (or other small animals) are Not a good fit for him. We have not seen him around children. Loves to sunbath , and could hang out while you do yard work. Or would happily go for a walk with you, then take a nap I'm a comfy spot. This animal is up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. Meet Sydney, rescued from an overcrowded KY shelter. Sydney is 4 to 5 years old and currently around 65 lbs and overweight. She needs to lose 10 to 15 lbs. Sydney seems to ignore cats, has been friendly around dogs thus far and loves all people. She was tormented by a child in her previous home so no kids, must be at least teenagers.  Sydney rides great in the car and appears to be housetrained., she is a purebred Australian Shepherd.  Her adoption fee is $225.
