Welcome Dixie to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 9-month old Smooth Coated Collie/Kelpie is our best guess on breed. She weighs 50 pounds. She is very very loyal to her people and would be great with someone wanting a dog to go with you places or if you work from home and want a loyal partner. She is crate trained, potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She was found as a stray and her foster mom has been putting this girl through dog training. She is doing really good in her classes and is learning some more basic commands. She is a higher energy dog and would be great for a runner, jogger or hiker type person. She is lower on the shed scale. She has a lot of personality and would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Her best home would be with a fenced yard. She could run and play off some energy. She likes you to be outside with her as she wants to be around her family over exploring the yard all along without you. She would be fine with children as well. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccinations, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland(Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. We can put you in touch with her foster mom after you put in and get your application approved. We can also set up a meet and greet if you are local in Texas. Location: Otsego, MN Elena is just the best type of dog. She is about a year old, house and kennel trained! She has the energy of a puppy but sleeps through the night! A bit smaller stature, I would guess 40ish pounds. She absolutely loves playing with toys and the resident kids/dogs, loves a good snuggle and getting so much better on the leash. She loves to play, so an active family would be ideal! Last but not least, look at that fur. It is beyond beautiful. Location: Spirit Lake, IA Hi, my name is Laurel but my foster mom calls me Lolo- a pint sized ball of energy. I love to run around my yard with my fur friends and splash in the pool! I like dogs that are my size or bigger and it does take me a few days to warm up to them. I do well in my kennel or left out in a room for a few hours. I love my toys but I do tend to want them for myself so I'm learning to share. I sleep in my fosters room at night and do a great job all night. I am such a sweetheart and I love my humans! I'm still learning some manners but I've been doing great so far. Location: Anoka, MN Hello! My name is Evie. I was a mom coming into my foster home and had five puppies! They have all been adopted now, but I am still waiting for my forever home. My foster parents always tell me what a sweet girl I am. I am fully potty trained and love to spend as much time as I can outdoors! I love running and playing with all dogs, but am not a huge fan of cats and would prefer to chase them. I am a really good jumper and my foster parents are working with me because I love to jump and give kisses when I get excited. I also LOVE getting my belly scratched and rollover anytime an opportunity presents itself! My foster parents are also working with me on crate training. I am still not a huge fan of my crate, but if I am in a room with other doggie friends I do much better. I can also be a pretty good escape artist. I would do best in a home where I am not the only dog so I have someone to play with and someone to show me the ropes. I would also do best in a fenced in yard since I do enjoy chasing squirrels and bunnies.
