Story
Rehoming Our Beloved Australian Kelpie Name: Sonny Age: 3.5 y Gender: Male Location: Detroit, MI About Sonny: We are looking for a loving new home for our Australian Kelpie, Sonny. This energetic and intelligent dog is 3.5 years old and has been a cherished member of our family. He is friendly, loyal, playful, and intelligent, and loves to run, play fetch, and go on hikes. Ideal Home: Sonny would thrive in an active household where he can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He is great with older children and other dogs, but we believe he would be happiest with someone who can dedicate time to training and outdoor activities. Health and Care: Sonny is not currently up to date on vaccinations, is neutered, and has no known health issues. Rehoming Fee: We are asking for a small rehoming fee of $75 to ensure Sonny goes to a responsible home. If you’re interested in giving Sonny a new loving home, please send an application. I’d be happy to set up a meet-and-greet.

These pups are in Warren, Michigan too!

Story
very sweet 10 month old, Larger female dog. Potty trained, likes her crate but opened. Sweetie understands basic commands, sit, stay, lay down. just wants to be loved and petted. She does like to play with stuffed animals and a ball. In the process of learning to walk on the left side and not pull the chain. The owner stayed at home most days and took her out in public. The owner left the country. I feel like she would be really good for a person who works remote or an adventurer that likes to walk dogs and stay at home. Also, very good for family with kids probably over eight. she does need to be trained, not to jump on you when she is excited, especially when you first come home. She does relax if your watching tv or likes to watch you do things ie in kitchen etc. I don’t want to put her in a shelter. I’m trying to keep her at my house until I find an owner. Hopefully soon. Up to date on shots but has not been spayed, but does have an appointment on 23 of January 12/Ryan area.

Story
This is a very good dog with high energy! He needs to be in a home with a yard and a lot of exercise. He loves to play with toys and play ball. He loves to play tug of war. He was a crate dog when I took him and hes doing well, but adjusting being out of the crate, but I still put him in the crate when I leave the house. He hasn’t chewed anything up except toys as puppies always do. He does pretty good on a leash. He’s learning to listen well he is just very hyper. He will be 1 year old in December, just needs a good loving home 😀

We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay online until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available. New animals are posted daily, so please let us know if another furry friend peaks your interest (there is no need to fill out a second application)!
