Story
Meet Gaden, a true testament to resilience and love. Gaden was rescued from the streets of Nepal after being hit by a car, an accident that left him in need of care. Thanks to dedicated sponsorship, Gaden underwent surgery and made an incredible journey to the U.S., where he is now thriving. Gaden is ready for his forever home, bringing with him a sweet disposition and a gentle spirit. He is trained with basic come commands, good with other dogs (except he needs to be fed alone due to resource guarding), good with the cat, great with kids, and an A+ cuddler. He should have a family with a yard because he is quite the escape artists and due to his street life loves to wander. Best guess is he is a breed of Australian Kelpie. He is happy to be outdoors and go for long walks in the woods, but equally happy to laze around the house and loves a good snuggle. He is not neutered (not a common practice in Nepal) but can be of course!

Story
Momma Donna is a Kelpie/Heeler mix girl that gave birth 3 months ago to 8 beautiful, wonderful Heeler puppies. This girl is 2 years old and only 42 pounds.  She is amazingly smart and seems to know exactly what you are saying to her.  We think that Momma Donna would be a perfect addition to a home with children who want to play and teach a dog some good tricks and manners.  She is willing to learn anything. Momma Donna is nicely housebroken and ready for a totally great and new life.  Momma Donna just needs a place to belong.   So, do you have a front porch and a hole in your heart ready to be filled by a loving and devoted dog who wants to walk down the road with you every day?   Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in Momma Donna.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 4, 2024, 11:48 pm

He is very smart, eager to learn, and also gentle. He is trained to use hand signals, and already knows "sit" and "down".  He would love a family who will throw the ball for him and another canine sibling or regular opportunities to socialize with other dogs.Pepper Jack is good with dogs after a polite introduction to them. Once he meets a dog, he plays really well with them. He has ignored indoor cats and enjoys his visits with kids 5-17 so far. They all love him and the feeling is mutual!Pepper Jack is fully house and crate trained. He sleeps soundly in his crate overnight and happily enjoys a tasty treat when he is crated during the day. As he is deaf, he may alert with a bark, but only when he needs to tell his human something. He would likely do well as a WFH companion as he’s calm at home and content to relax during the day after playtime or a walk. He also walks well on a leash.Pepper Jack is a wonderful dog who deserves a loving family of his own. He will be missed greatly at his foster home and will make a fabulous companion! For more resources on adopting deaf dogs, please check out deafdogsrock.com and we’d be happy to answer any questions you might have! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. He is doing great being fostered with another dog and cat in the home and has fit in well with the pack. Pep would likely do well in nearly any home ready to give him all the love.He is a medium-energy pup who loves to stroll around the pond or hop in the car but is perfectly content to chill on the couch nearby. Pep gets along well with other pups and would do just fine with a canine sibling. He has interacted well and is respectful of cats’ boundaries, so he would do well with or without a cat in the home. His gentle disposition would likely do fine with kids in the home.Pep is smart and eager to please. He is crate trained and mostly potty-trained. He is crated occasionally during the day and overnight without any issues. Pep has had minimal accidents north and will continue to master potty training with time and patience.
