A FUN, SWEET & ACTIVE PUPPY: Approx. 5 months old / Approx. 23 lbs. & growing Hello – I’m Arlo – a great young pup that Mostly Mutts rescued from animal control. The shelter volunteers love me, and I recently went to a wonderful foster home where I am soaking up all the love and attention that all pups deserve. I love my foster family, but nothing will beat a home and family of my very own, so come and meet me soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I like the dog in my foster home, though I don’t always take the cues when she is telling me ‘enough is enough’. I’d really love an active and playful friend! If you have a nice doggie that would like a playful puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids in my foster home, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me or that I may bump over. Let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m an active, happy puppy who is ready to bring that fun puppy energy to my new home. I have a typical puppy playfulness and am super social with people. Then, I’m an affectionate cuddler when it’s time to relax on the sofa with you. I’m smart and ready to be a great family companion. / My energy level is 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. I know the ‘sit’ command and am becoming familiar with ‘down’ in my foster home too. I like treats, so I bet you can teach me even more great doggie commands. / I do pretty well in my crate. My foster uses a couple of pieces of kibble coax me in. I may protest initially, but I settle after a few minutes with a Nylabone to shift my attention and help me chill out. Covering the crate also helps in my foster home. / My potty habits have been good in my foster home on a frequent take-out schedule, so keep me on a good schedule so I can fully master my potty habits. • LIKES/DISLIKES: The other dog in my home is so fun to play with! We wrestle and wrestle – then take a treat break when my foster says, ‘puppies settle’. I love to cuddle on the couch – especially with my foster dad, so I hope couch time is allowed in my new home. I enjoy running around and playing in the yard, so a fenced back yard would be a perfect place for us to have great play sessions together. Fetching tennis balls is so fun and I will usually drop everything for a Nylabone! / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.
