Story
When we rescued her she was only in shelter for 3 days. She was found tethered to fence on a main street in Tampa FL. She was immediately friendly and happy when we approached her at the Shelter. We did a meet and greet and fell in love with her love and infectionate self. She came home and we slowly introduced her to our other two dogs. A Golden Lab and a miniture Dachshund. She immediatly wanted to be the Alpha female. She learned pretty quick that our Lab wasn't interested in that and only nudges her if she want to be up first. As for our senior dachshund the relationship has been up and down. Unfortunately I feel she sees her as submissive pet and/or a rodent. She has nipped her a couple of times this past year which is why I am looking for a perfect rehoming. She belongs with either no other pets or only large similar size pets. She is 4yrs old, spayed, house trained, kennel trained, and leash trained. She lovessssss Humans.

Story
Maxine is a sweet, petite little lady. She is estimated to be between 10 and 12 years old. She's 37 pounds and a complete sweetheart. Maxine was found as a stray and brought to our county shelter. No one came looking for her. Maxine has clearly had untreated skin issues on her back for quite some time, leaving her with rough skin and little hair. It's unknown if her hair will grow back, but it's possible with time and proper care and nutrition. Maxine is a very sweet and friendly girl. She's great with other dogs and all people. Cats are unknown. Maxine is such a happy go lucky girl. She loves to cuddle in bed or the couch, chew bones and she can be pretty frisky and cute. This girl deserves so much and she's a complete joy to have around. **EMAIL INQUIRIES ONLY **

Story
Welcome Cooper to Sunshine Big Dog Rescue. Approximately 7 month old male, 33 pounds, possibly Australian Kelpie mix, neutered and up to date on shots. Found wandering the Town and Country Preserve behind Alonso High School. He served his time in county lock up and is now ready to find his real forever home! He is Super playful, loves to snuggle, ridiculously smart, knows how to sit and learning how to shake. He is crate trained, potty trained and food driven. He has a touch of separation anxiety, likely due to being dumped by previous owners. Gets along with other dogs, he’s been exposed to cats but he is unsure of them. To meet this distinguished gentleman, please review the requirements and submit an application.
