Story
Brownie is an active working class dog. He is extremely smart and loves to play. He likes water, shallow pools are his favorite. Brownie is dog selective, we have around 40-50 dogs here at the rescue and he gets along with some and not so much with others. No real rhyme or reason to it. He enjoys children and adults alike. Please give Wanda a call at (352) 207-3605. Thanks for viewing our site.

Story
Monty is a 5-year-old Red Heeler with a heart full of affection and a protective streak. This smart and energetic boy thrives in an active home where he can channel his energy and intelligence into fun activities and playtime. Monty is a loyal companion who loves his people and enjoys snuggling up for some cuddle time once he's had a chance to burn off his energy. As a breed, Red Heelers are known for their high energy and strong protective instincts, and Monty is no exception. He does well with some dogs outside the home but can be territorial and protective of his space, so he'd be happiest as the only pet in a home. He is not suited for a home with children, as his protective nature may make him uncomfortable around unfamiliar situations or people. Monty needs a confident, experienced owner who understands the breed's instincts and can provide him with structure, mental stimulation, and lots of exercise. He can be a bit cautious around new people, especially in his home, but once he bonds with you, he'll be your loyal protector and best friend. His intelligence makes him highly trainable, and he's always eager to please. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate, and protective companion who will reward your patience and dedication with loyalty and love, Monty might be the perfect match for you.
