Sugar was surrendered to an overcrowded shelter in Johnson City, Tennessee because her owner was having financial issues and could no longer care for her. Pepper is a 2 year old, 39 lb female that is one of the best adult dogs we’ve had in our rescue. She was picked up by animal control in the south Texas area with her puppies. No rescuers wanted all black puppies and a medium sized momma dog. The shelter was about to euthanize her when we stepped up for all of them. The foster listed all of this for Pepper: - Walks amazing on a leash - Sits on command - Very smart, easily trainable - House broken - Very friendly to everyone she meets - Loves other dogs - Super Sweet - Quiet in a crate through the night - Rides great in a car - Not a chewer or destructive, very relaxed inside and when left alone - Loves treats - Very Gentle - Does not jump - Very attention motivated - Aims to please her people - Couch dog, very chill - Would be great for children - Perfect girl Pepper is fully vetted – Spayed, heart worm negative, current on vaccinations, current on preventions, dewormer, microchipped and will receive a certificate of health from a vet giving her a clean bill of health prior to receiving her. Jasper, was rescued from the streets, came to us 2.5 years ago after being rehomed due to family circumstances. He had prior training, which we've continued, and he's a very good boy. Jasper's ideal day involves relaxing on the couch while you're away, a joyful reunion when you return, and then some spirited squirrel chasing in the backyard. He's athletic and needs a fenced yard to run and play. After his bursts of energy, he's a champion cuddler, curling up next to you for some quiet time. Due to his past, Jasper has some behavioral tendencies. He's very protective of his home and owner. Therefore, we're seeking a specific type of home for him: No other pets or children. Experienced dog owner: Someone familiar with and able to maintain his e-collar training. Fenced yard: Essential for him to safely roam and exercise. We love Jasper and want the very best for him. It's been a difficult decision, but we believe this is the right step to ensure his happiness and well being.

Jack is a 1 year old Australian Cattle Labrador mix. He’s a sweet boy who love to receive cuddles. Soft plushie toys are his favorite in keeping calm and he enjoys a good rubber ball or rope toy to throw around by himself. He loves to run and we are looking to rehome with someone who can give him that. He’s smart and would benefit from a bit of training. He can get a little territorial so he would do best as an only pet. We love him so much but realize he would do better in home with a yard versus an apartment. He also started exhibiting littermate syndrome towards one his brothers and we are trying to prevent it from escalating further. He’s very sweet and loving.

Story
I got Hank from the PG County shelter in September. He has had difficulty getting along with my emotional support dog and has recently been more anxious around him. He needs to be an only dog and have his human's whole attention and that is not the situation he is experiencing now. I love Hank dearly but I don't think my house can be the right fit for him. He is such a sweetie and knows quite a few tricks. He loves to be outside and would benefit from a home with a yard, a person who can give him exercise regularly, or someone who works from home. He’s not just a pretty face. He’s loyal and always wants to be near you. He sleeps through the night and rarely wakes me up. He loves his food and treats and if you give him one he will be your friend instantly. He’s great at laying around on the couch but also loves to play fetch. He loves people but is apprehensive around dogs. He’s a great dog.

This precious girl came from one of the worst hoarding situations that we have ever dealt with. there were over 100 dogs on the property, none of them spayed or neutered. Finally, the authorities went in and they managed to get ALL of the dogs out of there. Filthy dirty situation, sick puppies, you name it. We choose to take Blossom home to our rescue because her eyes were begging us for love and attention. She was very pregnant and two weeks after arriving, she gave birth to 7 heathy puppies! Every single puppy was different, every singe puppy had a different daddy! We think that Blossom had never been paid any attention to because she was so shy. Once we weaned her babies we took her out of the nursery and into the house where she just blossomed! That's how she got her name! Her puppies have long since been adopted and now it's her turn. We actually did a DNA on her and it came back with 4 different breeds, which we kind of figured from the beginning. Australian Cattle Dog, Labrador Retriever, Pit Bull, Boxer. Yes, she is truly a "Mutt!: She is extremely smart and will do anything for a treat. I want her to have a nice fenced yard with lots of room to run. Cattle dogs are working dogs and they need lots of exercise! She is spayed, crate trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped and house broken, truly a gem! Ready for immediate transport. ADOPTION FEE $400 PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION!
