She prefers a harness over a collar. Leash trained. Potty trained. Does not bother things in the home. Good with people and other dogs. Loves being petted. Nothing bad to say about Millie. She is a shining star. Currently located in Clarksburg, (West TN). Transport out of state can be arranged with additional cost of $185. Lulu is a little shy, so please give her a little time to warm up to you, but once she trusts you, she will melt into your lap and become your best friend. Her affectionate nature and gentle spirit make her a truly special companion. Adoption fee is $595.00 which includes spay/neuter, Microchip, Distemper/Rabies, Flea Tick/Heartworm prevention. Welcome Dixie to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 9-month old Smooth Coated Collie/Kelpie is our best guess on breed. She weighs 50 pounds. She is very very loyal to her people and would be great with someone wanting a dog to go with you places or if you work from home and want a loyal partner. She is crate trained, potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She was found as a stray and her foster mom has been putting this girl through dog training. She is doing really good in her classes and is learning some more basic commands. She is a higher energy dog and would be great for a runner, jogger or hiker type person. She is lower on the shed scale. She has a lot of personality and would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Her best home would be with a fenced yard. She could run and play off some energy. She likes you to be outside with her as she wants to be around her family over exploring the yard all along without you. She would be fine with children as well. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccinations, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland(Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. We can put you in touch with her foster mom after you put in and get your application approved. We can also set up a meet and greet if you are local in Texas. Pepper is a 2 year old, 39 lb female that is one of the best adult dogs we’ve had in our rescue. She was picked up by animal control in the south Texas area with her puppies. No rescuers wanted all black puppies and a medium sized momma dog. The shelter was about to euthanize her when we stepped up for all of them. The foster listed all of this for Pepper: - Walks amazing on a leash - Sits on command - Very smart, easily trainable - House broken - Very friendly to everyone she meets - Loves other dogs - Super Sweet - Quiet in a crate through the night - Rides great in a car - Not a chewer or destructive, very relaxed inside and when left alone - Loves treats - Very Gentle - Does not jump - Very attention motivated - Aims to please her people - Couch dog, very chill - Would be great for children - Perfect girl Pepper is fully vetted – Spayed, heart worm negative, current on vaccinations, current on preventions, dewormer, microchipped and will receive a certificate of health from a vet giving her a clean bill of health prior to receiving her. Story
Meet Gaden a rescue from the streets of Nepal. After being hit by a car, Gaden underwent surgery and made an incredible journey to the U.S., where he is now thriving. Gaden is ready for his forever home, bringing a sweet disposition and a playful attitude. He has adjusted from a street dog to a couch lover! He is trained with basic come commands on a lead, good with other dogs (except he needs to be fed alone due to resource guarding), good with the cat (I have one, but they keep a distance), great with kids, and an A+ cuddler. He should have a family with a yard because he is quite the escape artist and, due to his street life, loves to wander. My best guess is he is a breed of Australian Kelpie and almost two years old. He is happy to be outdoors and go for long walks in the woods, but equally happy to laze around the house and loves a good snuggle. He is not neutered (which is not a common practice in Nepal) but can be, of course!
