Hi, meet Mia, a 2yr old cutie weighing in at about 35-40lbs. She has a beautiful grey and white short-haired coat and sweet brown eyes. Mia is a great girl, loving people, kids and puppies. She hasn't met adult dogs yet so we're not sure about that. Mia is very smart and has even learned how to close the door behind her when told to do so. There's so many tricks ahead she's dying to be taught to perform. She's a high energy dog so you'll have a great time playing, hiking, adventures or just walks and cuddles. She is spayed, vaccinated and chipped so get your application in ASAP to meet Mia!

He’s looking for an active family willing to keep him challenged and set boundaries that will ensure he’s appropriately engaged. Have dogs? He loves them too especially other fun loving friends he can pal around with. Neptune may be a familiar face. He was adopted last summer as a younger pup but unfortunately that family wasn’t his perfect fit. There was too much going on in the home and neighborhood and it was a bad environment for this boy. He’s had a chance to decompress at our ranch and is doing great which means it’s time to begin the search for his perfect home. Neptune is very affectionate and eager to please. He really just wants a job like all Aussies do. Do you like K9 sports? Looking for an agility partner? Want to learn a new hobby like dock diving? Sweet and mild mannered this little guy is quickly winning everyone’s hearts. He’s very affectionate and loves everyone he’s met both human and dog alike. All of these qualities mean he’s the perfect fit for our Pawsitive Change program and he’ll be joining the crew at Tehachapi State prison. We’re pretty sure he’s going to quickly become a favorite there as well! As wonderful as Peter is he found himself at risk at our County Shelter. Picked up as a stray he lingered for almost a month. No one came for him and no one wanted to adopt him. With so many other dogs residing at the shelter hoping for a home Peter didn’t stand much of a chance of making it out alive. We are giving him the chance he desperately needed and Peter has never looked back! Peter will spend the next 3 months gaining basic obedience skills while he’s in prison. He’ll be adoption reach when he graduates and we’d love to find him a forever home with another dog to pal around with. He really enjoys playing with his canine buddies and a home with another dog would make him the happiest. This sweet boy is guaranteed to win your heart.
