She was found as a stray and taken to a shelter where she was due to be euthanized, but was saved by an emergency foster at the last minute. She now needs her forever home. Shya is very sweet and loving, but timid and scared (submissive, non-aggressive), and needs someone with time and patience to help her learn to trust again. She settled into her foster home within a couple of hours, and is very playful with her foster mom. She loves cuddles and belly rubs! She does suffer from separation anxiety, and will need to be helped through this. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations and fully housebroken. She is smart, with a lovely temperament, and will make a wonderful addition to the right family. Shya gets on well with other dogs. Timid at first, she loves to chase and be chased by small dogs, or dogs her own size. Wrestling is also great fun! She is good with large, chill dogs, but scared of boisterous dogs, or dogs that bark continually. Good with cats, but scared of children. He is house trained and crate trained to sleep overnight; a good rider in the car; no barking or chewing behaviors. Hero will make a great family companion pet and a good walking partner in the park or hikes! Hero’s rescue story: Hero and two siblings had been wandering in the suburban mountain area for quite a while. The chance for these young puppies to survive in the wilderness during winter time is slim. Luckily, all three fragile lives were rescued in time and then got settled in foster homes. Banjo is charming, and needs to be in a rural environment with very little traffic coming and going from his home. He is very smart but he is adamant about taking hoses, But it is a lot of fun to use the hose near him unless you're trying to get something done).....he loves to leap up and bite the water. Hilarious and adorable. He will need an adult-only home who have had plenty experience with this breed. He needs more work on training and socialization. Banjo is a sweetheart he loves to go for walks, just short ones. He isn't very big into hiking and mostly just enjoys the company of his humans.

Meet Jingles! He is a special guy whose tail jingles a mile a minute. He is a happy fella that may have been born with or experienced some previous trauma that has led to what we think are neurological and brain function, and mild depth perception issues. He's a busy boy with a lot of motion and circling. He likes toys, loves treats!! This doesn't seem to inhibit him from loving life, and wanting to have fun! He will need to find a family that not only has experience, but are also willing to take on the quirks that make him so special. He will need to meet everyone in the family prior to adoption, and we recommend no kids, teenagers are fine. Any dogs he is to live with need to be tolerant and non reactive. Positive reinforcement training is recommended to help teach him manners, he grabs at food so some caution is needed when giving treats.
