He is aimed to please and very food motivated, so is easy to train. Hero is friendly around adults and kids, also good with other dogs and cats; he would share his toy and food without getting into fight. He is house trained and crate trained to sleep overnight; a good rider in the car; no barking or chewing behaviors. Hero will make a great family companion pet and a good walking partner in the park or hikes! Hero’s rescue story: Hero and two siblings had been wandering in the suburban mountain area for quite a while. The chance for these young puppies to survive in the wilderness during winter time is slim. Luckily, all three fragile lives were rescued in time and then got settled in foster homes. The puppies received loving care and medical attention under foster care. Hero thrived to be a healthy and happy pup! River a 12 year old Aussie whose mom just passed away and he needs a new home:(. He is neutered, in good health, and an incredibly sweet guy. He has lived with both cats and dogs peacefully and done great with visitors (both dog and human) that come to the house. He's used to living with one elderly person and though he's been around little kids without incident, the ideal home would not have small children. He has the typical herding dog instinct where he will chase/nip if there's a lot of running/yelling/play fighting etc inside the house, though he's never bitten anyone. He walks well on leash and is happy with one mellow 30 min walk each day, otherwise he just loafs. He's very tolerant, loves car rides, eats well, does well in public/gatherings, is house trained, and just wants to be someones sweet companion.
