Pheonix was found abandoned near a lake late at night. She came right up to me frightened so I took her home & took her in. She is good with other dogs & kids. She loves to walk and run. She really is an amazing dog & is good with schedules. She is kennel trained & her bedtime is 9:15pm. She does listen and can understand certain commands. One vet says she is an Australian kelpie but another said she was a Doberman mix or husky mix. I would love to keep her but my work schedule & time doesn’t give me enough time to dedicate to her. She needs someone who can give her the time & attention with proper exercise because she loves her walks. I would love for her to go to a loving & nurturing home.

Her owners lost their jobs and now have new jobs with hours that don't allow them to provide her with the attention she deserves. She is 9 months old, spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She loves people and kids. Plus, she is good with dogs, she has gone to Doggie Daycare and spends time at the dog park. She at first but then plays well with others.

Iza was a dog we agreed to take in over a year ago in Armenia that had been wasting away at the shelter overloaded with dogs but the CDC had shut down travel, and we finally got approval to bring her over. She’s approx 6 years old and great with dogs and despite her past, an absolute sweetheart with people. Iza, like many strays in Armenia, was emaciated and neglected. There are a lot of people in the world that don’t find value in a dog’s life as she was deliberately hit by a car and left for dead. The accident didn’t take away her will to live, although it took away her vision. Thankfully good people exist, and we appreciate our good friend, Susanna, who took her in and got her vetted. She is 100% blind and she'll need a home that will help her learn where all the furniture is located so she can find her favorite spot. She is very dog-friendly and is a very low-maintenance dog as her favorite things to do are sunbathe, going on walks, and receive belly rubs.
