Story
FINN! ADOPT ME! I'M READY TO CRAWL INTO YOUR HEARTS! So Cal! Available thru JMM Rescue! Finn (and his brother Arlo) are ready for adoption (separately!) Finn is a mystery mutt. We guessed chi corgi at first, but they seem to have outgrown the chi part, we've considered Basenji, Shepherd, Min Pin, and more but the truth is we really don't know. 🤣 We think they will be medium sized (45ish pounds) but we're not making any promises at this point. Finn is fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. He's about 4.5 months old. Finn has been raised with dogs of all sizes. He gets along with them all. He's very happy go lucky. He loves to play. Working on his housetraining but getting there. He does pretty well on leash and loves to go to Starbucks! Crate trained! They ignore the cats in the foster home and they should be fine with kids. Currently in foster in So Cal, can be adopted anywhere in California. Adoption fee of $300 includes neuter, microchip, core vaccines, and free access to online training programs that we purchase. Please apply here to adopt:. Adoption Application We require an application before scheduling a meet and greet. Thank you!

Story
He came to me while I was at work. He is a high energy dog that needs a home with a high energy owner. Someone that goes on hikes and spends time outdoors with him and friends. He’s a farm dog that is bred to heard livestock so he loves any high energy activity’s. He’s chewed up some personal items in the house but I think that’s mainly from teething. Early riser, wakes up around 5-6 am. Listens and sits on command.

Story
In Long Beach Bella is a black bicolor, 45-pound, 2-yr-old Australian Kelpie mix with blue-ticked toes who is sure she will win your heart! This affectionate lap dog gets along well with every person and dog she encounters. She quickly gains confidence around other dogs. This friendly girl would do best in a home with one or more dogs - the more, the merrier for Bella! Likes: - Being brushed - Being pet - Cuddling, hiking, or nearly any activity with her people - Playing with dog friends - Chasing balls Fears: - Fireworks - Raised voices or loud noises - Bath time We rescued Bella from euthanasia at an overcrowded shelter. She is praise-motivated and learns best when not scolded, as she seems to have a history of abuse and braces when voices are raised. She would do best in a home where she has space to run and play with other dogs and where she can get frequent exercise. True to her herding dog heritage, she is attentive to commands and is calm around livestock and other animals. She is highly Velcro and has high energy. If you’re looking for a happy, energetic canine playmate this holiday season, Bella would be a great addition to your home! Here is the application! https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to her new furever family.

Story
Handsome lad Hunter, an Australian Kelpie, is about 5 years old and 40-45 lbs.  He was rescued with many others from a breeding kennel. He is still a bit shy with people, but he's had a lot of training here and has improved a lot. He likes kiddie pools. He has an overall nice disposition- he's one of the few kennel dogs that doesn't bark when people go by. He has made human and canine friendships and is ready for adoption into his own forever home now. Hunter is great with all dogs. Hunter's best friends are Dobie and Dougie, who are also available for adoption. He was part of a group of around 10 dogs that came to us from the Lucerne Valley kennels in 2021. They were rescued by Brandon McMillan and one of our staff after the kennel owner died. All the others except him and Sam have been adopted, and they've been doing well in their homes. Email an application (see beaglesandbuddies.com) to find the application forms and see all the other dogs here.*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day.
