Story
"Hi, I’m Fluffy, the friendly, funny, and feisty fur baby who is going to win your heart! I’m an adventurous puppy with lots of spirit and love to explore. You’ll never get bored with me around - I’m curious, playful, and I love to make you laugh. But I’m also a gentle, affectionate, and loyal pup who will always be by your side. I may be small now, but I’m also a smart cookie who will learn all the tricks in the book and be your very own guard dog. I love to play, run, and explore, so if you’re looking for an active and fun-loving pup, I’m the one for you! Just one warning - I love to give lots of kisses and I’m sure you won’t be able to resist my adorable fluffy face. So if you’re ready for a lifetime of love and laughter, come and meet me today! I do love to play with other dogs, but can be scared of bigger dogs than me, but I’m a quick learner and I’m sure we can work it out together! And one more thing - I’m still just a baby,

Story
Opie came to us, with his brother Oden. Opie was blessed with the most beautiful blue eyes, but he has confidence issues - he is a little unsure of himself although he feels confident with another doggo around, so he will do best in a home with another k-9 companion. He loves other dogs and gets along with almost all of them. Opie is neutered, current on shots and is full grown at 35lbs.  His adoption fee has been waived for our Clear the Shelter Event, but your application must be approved. If you would like more information, please contact our shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website, schspets.org, and complete an adoption application and someone will call you for a meet and greet.November 5, 2024, 10:35 am

Story
Oh, hi there. I'm Oden. I am supposed to tell you about myself, but I am a little nervous, so please forgive me. I am 2 1/2 years old and 35lbs. Do you have a dog with you? I am more comfortable when there is another dog around.  I LOVE other dogs, and kids are ok too, I just don't like cats and I REALLY don't like chickens. That is why I am here at the shelter, stupid chickens! Anyway, I only potty inside occasionally; I guess they call it "partially house-trained" and I am leash trained and use the doggie door. I really enjoy going on walks and meeting new dogs. Dogs are just great aren't they?! Did you notice my eyes? Everyone tells me I have beautiful blue eyes, but I am color blind so I just have to take their word for it.  I would really like to get out of the shelter and back into a home. I liked the stability and quiet. It gets pretty loud here with 25 other dogs playing and barking. I would love to lay on a comfy couch or dog bed again. Maybe you could come take me for a walk? But bring your dog, that would be better and more fun! Hope to see you soon!  **Oden's adoption fee has been waived for our Clear the Shelter Event, but your application must be approved. If you would like more information, please contact our shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website and complete an adoption application at schspets.org.November 5, 2024, 10:35 am

Story
Hello there, I'm Toby! I'm a sweet, friendly guy with a heart full of love. My independence means I can entertain myself, but I'm always up for a game of fetch. I'm curious about the world and love to explore. I'm gentle, so I'm great with kids and other pets. My bravery makes me a fantastic guard dog. I'm smart, too, so training is a breeze. Loyalty is my middle name, and I promise to be your faithful companion. Why should you adopt me? Because I'm not just a dog, I'm a friend. I can't wait to meet you!November 20, 2024, 11:53 pm
