Story
Harley was adopted from the Wisconsin humane society. She has lots of energy and would greatly appreciate another dog to play with all the time. She lives with four cats that she wants to play with in “puppy-style”. She still needs work with potty training. She is very scared of things and shows this with growling. She’s a herding puppy so she has tendencies to want to herd small children. She needs more attention than we can give her unfortunately. She loves to cuddle and gives kisses and hugs. She loves going to the dog park and playing with dogs. She doesn’t like strangers trying to pet her, she usually backs away. She’s improving since we got her but she still needs time. She likes to use her voice and bark. A home with another dog would be the ideal home. And a place that she can run freely would also be a plus. She’s about 10 months old. She’s a sensitive puppy so someone who uses positive training styles is also a must. She doesn’t train well with treats, she’ll usually drop it.

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info! ***I am able to go home to my forever family right off of transport! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on November 1st and arrive on November 2nd, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 10/11/24 Dog Name: Frankie Sex: Male Neuter/Spay Status: Frankie will be neutered when he arrives in WI Estimated Breed Mix: Standard Poodle Mix Approximate Age: 10 months Approximate Weight: 40 lbs Description: Frankie was found absolutely matted and covered in painful stickers down to his skin. He is a sibling of the 5 pups who traveled up to Tailwaggers911 in September. He is so sweet and learning about love and affection, he is begging for a second chance and hoping his forever family is in Wisconsin! He is a beautiful dog who had to be shaved to regrow her coat due to neglect. Frankie is a very shy but coming out of his shell, with some love and care he will be a wonderful companion! Adoption Fee: $750We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are 6 months to 1 year or age. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days.  at one of our preferred clinics. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. November 7, 2024, 10:00 am
