Story
Available for Adoption in Portsmouth VA Meet Kinder! Kinder is a 5.5 month old (DOB 8/31/24) Aussiedoodle puppy that will steal your heart! He is about 16 lbs (will be mini sized full grown) and up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives. He was rescued in Oklahoma. Kinder is not neutered yet and would require a neuter contract to adopt. With his crazy hair, he will require regular grooming, so find a professional groomer and put them on speed dial! Kinder has almost finished potty training and can typically be kenneled for several hours before needing to go potty. He has learned lay down and is doing well with recall, but sit remains to be a difficult task as it requires him to hold still, a skill that is not in his DNA. He has a 1 second attention span, but is wiggles and smiles all the time. Professional training or an experienced owner would be beneficial for this boy. Kinder loves his people so much and wants to be close to his them at all times. He loves to cuddle and get chest scratches. He is a high energy pup that has a hard time holding still, unless he is cuddling or sleeping. Kinder is crate trained, but does not necessarily care to be in the crate and is very vocal when he wants out. He does sleep 7-8 hours through the night without a peep, but he will let you know the moment that he is awake. He prefers that his crate is covered to create a darker environment for sleeping. Kinder would prefer other confident furry friends to play with, but is also just happy to have alone time with his people. He gets along with everyone (cats, dogs, chickens, kids) and loves to meet new people. He is a ball of joy and energy! Kinder is so so sweet and the best hugger you will find. He will make the perfect addition to your family, as long as you have patience! If Kinder sounds perfect for you, please fill out the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family, a REFUNDABLE $50 neuter deposit to be refunded upon proof of procedure and a $100 transport fee which is 1/2 of what we paid to transport him from OK to VA.

Story
In Suffolk: Hi, I’m Hershey, and I’m a male curly haired ball of fun! I am a 5-month-old Aussiedoodle who was surrendered to ASF with my 4 siblings in Oklahoma I love to cuddle and hang out on your lap all day! I’m a quick learner, I guess because I’m mixed with two very smart breeds. I still have some accidents, but I’m working on potty training. I am good in the crate, but as soon as I see you open a door or come home, I go insane with excitement because I want to jump into your arms. I am a total velcro pup who wants to be with my people all day long. I love chew toys and need them since I’m teething. I still have these very annoying puppy teeth, but not for long. I have become good pals with my 4 and 12 yr old human foster siblings, and we love to hang out. I love everyone, but toddlers may be a bit intimidated by my needle-like teeth. I also love to run and play with my older aussie foster siblings. They even let me nap with them in their dog beds. I am being fostered in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. I am up to date on my vaccinations, preventatives and microchipped. I will need to be neutered when I’m a little older so there will be a spay/neuter agreement. There is also a $100 transport fee to cover my transport from OK to VA. My foster mom does not know if I am hypoallergenic, and it may not be known until my adult coat comes in. If you are looking for your new best friend, love to get outside and be active, and can keep my very intelligent mind and energetic body busy, I would love to meet you! Here is the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family, a $50 REFUNDABLE neuter deposit that will be refunded upon proof of neuter

Story
In Moneta: My name is Dove and I am often called Ms. Dove by my foster mom because I frequently poodle pose so elegantly. I was rescued in Oklahoma. I’m a 5-month-old, female, 12-pound Aussiedoodle with an interest in everything – so much is new to me! I am an excellent eater, talker and companion as I like to be involved in anything and everything that goes on both in the house and outside in the yard. I’m happiest when my humans are within sight and close enough for lots of tender pets and good cuddles. I'm a real people pleaser and velcro pup! I have beautiful blue merle markings, a pink highlighted nose, blue eyes and the cutest curlicue tail that question marks over my back. I’m still learning all the wonders of the world from birds singing to geese floating by on the big body of lake water, the joys of rain (not sure about thunder), and how I can play equally with all the myriads of toys in my toybox. Since I am highly intelligent, I need an adopter who will work to keep my mind and body busy. Dog sports, puzzles, obedience training, rally, therapy, I’m ready for just about anything! When awake, I’m very alert, engaged and interested in doing things, demonstrating strong vision and hearing skills. Just today I mastered coming down the stairs at full puppy speed. I love to chase my toys and am a pretty good retriever, whatever it takes to keep the game going! I sleep well through the night in a crate with line of sight to my foster dad. He’s happy that I only need to go out usually once during the night. I am open and friendly to other dogs so I can fit easily into a single or multi-pet home. I’m learning basic commands and have almost mastered potty training. One thing I can assure you – you’ll be showered with love and affection! Dove is being fostered in Moneta, VA and is utd on vaccines and preventatives and also microchipped. She will need to be spayed when she is old enough. We do NOT know if Dove has a hypoallergenic coat and that may not be apparent until her adult coat comes in. She will need regular grooming to keep the poodle curls/aussie length beautiful. If Dove sounds perfect for you, please fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to her new furever family, a $50 REFUNDABLE spay deposit that will be refunded upon proof of spay and a $100 transport fee which is 1/2 of what we paid to transport her from Oklahoma to Virginia.
