Daisy; innocence, purity, new beginnings… what better name to bless a once used and abused commercial breeding mama ❤️‍🩹 Everyone meet Miss Daisy Poo. Daisy is a 3yr old(ish) Merle mini poodle weighing just under 12lbs and boy is she a stunner!!! With her beautiful Merle coloring and her ice blue eye she is sure to melt your heart. Daisy is still super duper shy and will require a very patient and understanding home. Hi friends, it’s me Daisy. I’d like to start by telling you I’m still pretty fearful of the world. My life before rescue wasn’t great, I still hold a lot of trauma from that. My foster family is teaching me that not all people are mean and I trust them, but Im still super nervous. I will need a new family that is quiet and chill with very minimal commotion. Another furry sibling who is also calm and chill would be amazing. I love all my foster siblings, both canine and feline, but when my doggie friends get crazy, I’m not really about that life. My foster mom says I am a Queen with the potty thing whatever that means. Maybe she is happy cause I never go inside. I’m also ok with a crate. Even though my foster mom tries to get me to sleep with her, Im still not ready for that so I sleep alone, peacefully in my crate. Daisy has not had much practice on a leash, she will require a fenced in yard. This is NOT NEGOTIABLE! She is UTD on all vaccines and preventatives. She has also been spayed and had a full dental with a few extractions. Hello! Meet Matty! An adorable, sweet and snuggly 16lb, 2yr old, mini poodle. Matty comes to us recently set free from his commercial breeder. He was shaved down to the skin to remove terrible matting. He is quickly learning how to dog and loving it! Leaving our past behind does not happen over night and the same is true for puppers. So Matty will need a patient home willing to continue to teach him safety, love and freedom. Matty is shy/apprehensive in new situations and around new people, but warms up quickly. He absolutely loves to be held, though is stiff and awkward while being picked up. He does not like his crate and will not go in willingly or when enticed. However, he has done really well having the run of the house. He is starting to explore items in the house that he shouldn’t have, but responds well to a firm “no!” He will then seek reassurance of your love for him. Matty likes to be the center of your attention so would do best as an only pup, but does well with other pups. Being an only pup is not required but if you already have a pup wanting all your attention, it will take more patience teaching Matty to share the spot light. Matty has done well with cats after getting used to them. He is startled by fast movement, so he did not understand their desire to play but has since started to play with his 1yr old kitten foster brother. He has discovered toys but mostly likes to play chase in the yard with his foster brothers. Matty has typical puppy energy so a fenced yard would be helpful to run free but not required if regular exercise is given. He is learning to walk on a leash and doing well so far. Matty is fixed, healthy, and up to date on vaccines. He is doing well with potty training, and lets himself out through the doggie door. He wore a belly band well, prior to surgery but has not needed it since, though regression is common with change of environment. Matty wants to please his humans and will give you all the love you are willing to accept! If you think he will be a good fit for you, please fill out an application! Meet Albie!! This fun loving little guy is looking for his forever home. He is a 3 year old Havapoo weighing 13 pounds. Hes got some really cool coloring too, very unique! Albie was rescued from a commercial breeder and is enjoying freedom. Albie loves all people and his foster doggy siblings. His favorite thing to do is snuggle up with his humans on their bed. You can carry him around like the prince he is too! Albie doesn’t require a lot of exercise but he does have the energy to follow you around all day, he just wants to be part of the group! He is potty trained but there can be regression in a new environment. Albie has a lot of crate anxiety and will do well in a home that will allow him to hangout freely! Albie is UTD on all his vaccines, microchipped and neutered. He is being fostered in Kennett Square, Pa and all potential applicants and their household members must be prepared to go to that area to meet him.
