Story
Ralphie is a bright, brave, and very sweet boy with a confident spirit and a sharp mind. He’s the most outgoing of his siblings and is often the first to investigate something new. Curious and observant, Ralphie is already showing signs of being a quick learner who will thrive with continued guidance and positive reinforcement. While he can be a little unsure about human touch at times, Ralphie clearly wants connection—he eagerly approaches for attention, offers affectionate hand licks, and enjoys being close, even as he continues learning that petting and handling are safe and rewarding. His foster is helping build that confidence, and he’s making progress every day. Ralphie also has a playful, take-charge personality and loves engaging with his environment. With structure, training, and consistency, he will continue to grow into a well-rounded and confident companion. He is doing great with crate training and has been quiet and settled overnight, already showing good habits. Ralphie has a fun mix of confidence, intelligence, and sweetness, and for someone willing to continue helping him grow, he is going to make a devoted and rewarding companion. Ralphie is a 4-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Ralphie is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Meet Edward! If you’re looking for a fun-loving, adventure-ready sidekick, Edward might just be your guy. This handsome Standard Poodle is full of life and thrives when he has an outlet for his energy—whether that’s long walks, trail runs, weekend hikes, or just exploring the world by your side. Edward is as smart as they come (true to his breed!) and picks up on new skills in no time. He’ll do best with a home that enjoys engaging with their dog—think training sessions, enrichment toys, and plenty of physical activity to keep both his body and brain happy. Edward is a social butterfly who gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids. That said, Edward is a bouncy, enthusiastic boy, and his zest for life can sometimes be a bit much for more laid-back pets or very young children—he may accidentally knock someone over in his excitement or try to turn everything into playtime. In the home, Edward shines. He has great house manners, settles in nicely, and is incredibly affectionate. After a day of adventures, he’s more than happy to curl up and soak in all the cuddles he can get. Edward is looking for a home that will embrace his energy, nurture his intelligence, and include him in all of life’s adventures. In return, you’ll get a loyal, loving, and endlessly fun companion. Edward is a 3-year-old Standard Poodle rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $1000 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Edward is also tested with other dogs, cats, children, and potty and kennel trained. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home.
