Story
Meet Barney, a loving Aussie-doodle. He is 4 years old and weighs 37 pounds. He is an active, smart dog who loves attention and snuggling. He is very well trained, understands commands, walks to heel, and is crate trained and potty trained. Because of his energy level, he needs at least two walks a day, but is happy being home and sleeping most of the day. He needs a strong owner that understands dogs and is able to keep structure in his life. He is great with folks that he knows but is insecure outside of the home and with people he doesn't know, and can be reactive if he feels insecure or threatened. When meeting new people, he needs to have slow introductions and does not like when strangers try to pet him. He is great with other dogs, just not puppies, and hasn’t not been around children and it would not be advisable. When he feels overwhelmed or threatened he can be reactive with other dogs but does not attack or bite. He loves to play and being chased. He loves to hike, and absolutely loves and bonds to his person.

Story
Milky Way is a chocolatey dream of a dog. He is so kind and gentle, and his favorite pastime is sleeping. He will head to the first bed he comes across and then he goes nighty night. Milky Way is 12-years old, weighs approximately 23-lbs. and has limited vision but gets around great. He is good with other dogs, kids and cats and rides nicely in the car. We love this quiet senior and know that you will too. Milky Way is house-trained, pee pad trained and walks nicely on leash. This stunning senior gent has been fully vetted (bloodwork, fecal test, etc.) and neutered. He's also had a badly needed dental and oral fistulas repaired. Adoption process includes application, interview, home visit, contract and donation. If you are interested in Milky Way, please go to our website and fill out an application.
