He was matted, emaciated and had bite wounds on his neck. Thankfully a good samaritan rescued him and Hershey now has a second chance with Lovebugs Rescue. Hershey is a 2 year old, 11 lb mixed breed with something Merle in it - maybe Aussie/Mini Poodle mix. Hershey is well mannered in the home and seems to enjoy the company of other small dogs. He will require slow handling and a warm up with new humans initially. Hershey's foster has been providing him with lots of exposure to new things in our human world. He would benefit from some continued socialization and exposure with his new family. Hershey would prefer a home with less coming and going, and another small playful pooch would be a bonus for him, although not required. Hershey's handsome merle coat is currently cut back short, but is expected to grow back in long. This boy is super sweet and we can't wait to watch him blossom further. Hershey's adoption fee is $400 and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccines/flea treatment and deworming current. Apply at www.lovebugsrescue.org

Millie is a good girl, she is extremely active and playful and once she trusts you she is your friend for life (she is fearful at first so you need to give her time to get comfortable in a new home-patience is key). She's very energetic so we are looking for an active family home for her with someone who works from home preferably (she is not suitable for a senior/quiet home-she is too active). She gets along with most dogs but would prefer to have the attention of an only dog. This fun boy is looking for a young, active home with a backyard. He needs people who will walk/run him and play with him as he has a ton of play energy. He's a little shy when he first meets people but soon becomes a love bug once he is comfortable. Toby would make an amazing pet but you have to give him time to warm up. We think an active single person or active couple will be best suited, sorry no kids for this boy (he's ok but is afraid of them). Be still our hearts, cuteness has arrived, and her name is Poppi!  Poppi is an adorable Miniture Poodle/Maltese mix who is approximately 13 months old and weights 15 pounds. She has a soft, plush white coat, big brown eyes and the sweetest disposition!  Poppi loves her human and likes to stay very close, she is such a loving little girl!  She loves going for daily walks and will need regular grooming to look and feel her best.  Poppi is good around dogs and has not been exposed to cats.  She will do well with children who have gentle hands and are mindful of her small size.  Poppi’s perfect forever home will be with an active family or individual who has plenty of time to spend with her and give her all of the love and attention she deserves! Poppi is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and microchipped.
