Story
Meet Lonnie! "The Timid Warrior" 🐾 Age: Approx 4 years old 🐾 Breed: Poodle mix 🐾 Size: 15 lbs of pure joy With his soft, fluffy white coat and bright button eyes, Lonnie looks like he just stepped out of a storybook. This little guy may be small, but his heart is HUGE. At around 4 years old, Lonnie is the perfect age—still playful enough for zoomies around the yard, but always ready for snuggles after a nice walk. Lonnie is an affectionate, loyal companion who walks like a pro on a leash and loves to stay close to his people. He enjoys the company of other small dogs but can be a bit shy around larger pups, preferring an even playing field. With time and patience, Lonnie would likely warm up to new friends! Though he hasn't spent much time with cats, he's definitely curious—always interested when he spots them outside or on TV! This little warrior sleeps peacefully in his crate at night, as long as he knows his people are close by. He's also getting more comfortable when left alone when his fosters are out. Lonnie can get a little nervous when things are unpredictable. This sweet boy is a bit of a sensitive soul, which only makes his cuddles that much more rewarding! Since Lonnie can be a bit nervous at time, he'd thrive in a calm household with older kids or adults. He's not just looking for any home—he's searching for the perfect one where he can feel safe, loved, and understood. Ready to make Lonnie a part of your family? Fill out an application today and meet this sweet boy! Lonnie has not been tested with children, cats, or other animals.

Story
"Rescue, the path to a happy home is," said Yoda. ⚔️Meet Leia: This serene 6 or 7-year-old pup is looking for a galaxy far, far away where she can relax and enjoy the quiet life. Leia's a seasoned Jedi Master when it comes to naps on big beds and in sunbeams, making her the perfect companion for anyone seeking a gentle, low-key furry friend. However, don't let her calm demeanour fool you. When you return home, this Jedi Knight unleashes a burst of speed that would make even the fastest TIE fighter pilot blush! So, prepare to be greeted with a whirlwind of wagging tails and zoomies as Leia welcomes you back from your adventures. 👑Princess Leia is a poodle-terrier mix, weighing 24 pounds. Humans are good in her books, but she is a little standoffish with other dogs. While she has no reactivity or issues on walks encountering other dogs or people, she prefers to be the only dog in her own home. She doesn't necessarily love playing with other dogs or the body language of other dogs when they're high energy. 🥰Leia likes kids but does get a little nervous of big noises and doesn't love being manhandled, so older children are recommended. She really doesn't seem to enjoy playing fetch or toys, she's more into watching the world go by from a comfy spot. And destroying your bed, she loves that! if you take pride in perfectly made beds in your home she's going to mess them up! Leia is perfect on leash! Does not pull and loves a good walk, but does get nervous if there are loud/unexpected noises. While she is not a fan of a kennel, and is left loose at her foster home without issue, she will go in and rest quietly. 🚽As one would expect with a jedi, she is perfectly potty trained and will alert you when she needs out. Leia has not been properly tested with cats or other small animals.

Story
My name is Bruno. I answer to my name but am open to something more fitting. Although I've been through some hard times, I am a very affectionate dog. My days on the street have caused me to beg quite a bit but my foster mom is working very hard to curb that issue. I love to cuddle and get lots of scratches. I don't mind my baths or the hair dryer afterwards. I am very good at going to the bathroom outside and am getting really good at going in my kennel without encouragement. I sleep through the night and am very patient in the morning while my foster mom spends a short time in the bathroom. My walking skills are very good if I am offered treats. I am highly treat motivated! I am willing to walk without pulling and don't bark at other dogs if I am given treats. My foster mom says I won't get treats forever and I will need to work on accepting scratches instead of treats. But as long as she wants to give them to me, I will be in heaven. I am not hyper so I am happy to go for walks or just stay home and cuddle. I don't suffer on rainy days when my foster mom says she doesn't want to get us both wet. I am looking for a forever home that will love me and give me lots of attention. I will sit on command and accept all the scratches you want to give me. If you want me to sleep on the bed with you, I would be willing to try that out as I like my foster moms bed even though she won't let me sleep with her. I am an easy going dog who would be happy to fit into your life and bring happiness to us all. Thanks for considering me as an addition to your family
