Story
Hi my name is Anthony! My breed is known for being a livestock guardian BUT that is not me. I want to lounge on a couch and spend my time with my person. New people tend to scare me and I`ll hide behind my person. I like to jump real high. If I can`t jump the fence, I most certainly will be able to climb it to be with my dog friends next to me. I just DON`T want to be alone. The perfect place would be a person able to hike with me during the day and cuddle on the couch at night. Since I`m not a fan of meeting new people right away, kids wouldn`t be great for me. If you think you`ll be the perfect home for me, apply online today!

Story
Born: January 02, 2019 I am 90lbs and l am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $150 Meet Dash! This stunning, muscular, and friendly dog is eager to become a loyal member of your family. Weighing in at 90 lbs, Dash thrives with structure and training. He’s not just a pet; he’s a cuddly companion who loves to learn, is motivated by treats, and is fully potty trained! Dash loves to play and is gentle with everyone he meets. He enjoys tummy rubs and back scratches, and he comes when called. Dash would do best in a cat-free home and perhaps without small dogs due to his strong prey drive. While he has some reactivity towards other dogs on walks, this can be corrected with a prong collar. With some future training, he can improve greatly. He has successfully met other dogs with slow introductions and can become playful once he feels comfortable. This good boy needs plenty of exercise to stay happy and healthy. If you’d like to get to know him better before making a long-term commitment, Dash is also available for foster! Bring happiness and warmth into your home with this lovable pup! All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. The shelter is currently open by appointment only with an approved application. Please note, all applications are considered general and stay on file for 6 months. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, the adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Story
Meet Nala! Age: Adult Weight: 85lbs Breed: Great Dane Good with: Dogs, cats and older kids House trained: Yes Crate trained: Not required Special needs: Hypertrophic Osteo Dystrophy, needs a home without stairs Nala is a sweet and loving pup who has been through some difficult physical challenges and is looking for a patient, compassionate forever home. Nala was confiscated by Animal Control due to neglect. She was born with Hypertrophic Osteo Dystrophy that went untreated. This rare condition affects bone growth in affected puppies that require steroids to treat painful flare ups and in Nala caused some deformation in her limbs and joints. Despite this condition, Nala is an incredibly gentle and loving dog. She has yet to meet a stranger and loves all the dogs and people she has met. Because of her size, it is recommended that she live with older children. She is housebroken and does not require a crate when left alone. Because of her condition, a home without stairs would be best for her. Nala is looking for a cuddle buddy as she is super snuggly and a Velcro pup in her foster home. Sadly, we do not know what the future holds for Nala due to her medical concerns. She is looking for and deserves a home where she can be cherished despite the challenges she faces. Nala radiates love and affection, are you the person who can share your heart and home with a pup in need? **Nala is fostered in Brookfield Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs.
