Story
Raymond just made the trip from a high kill shelter in Georgia to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin on 2/15/25 and is doing amazing in his foster home.
ABOUT:
Raymond was found as a stray on a country road and brought to a kill shelter in Georgia. When he was found, he was wearing an embedded harness, and he’s been receiving treatment for his wounds. Thankfully, he’s almost fully healed now! He can wear a regular collar, but no harnesses for the time being while he continues to heal.
Raymond is a big, friendly guy with a heart full of happiness. The shelter lovingly referred to him as a "big happy horse" because of his joyful nature. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs, although he can be a bit too much for smaller dogs since he doesn’t always realize his size.
He’s doing great in his foster home in Wisconsin and is fully potty trained, crate trained, and gets along well with kids and other dogs. Raymond is a goofy, hilarious guy who’s always in a good mood and ready to make you laugh. While he’s a big boy, the shelter estimates he’s around a year old and might still have some growing to do. He’s likely a lab mix with Anatolian Shepherd.
If you meet Raymond, you’ll quickly fall in love with his sweet, playful personality. He hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but we can arrange a test if you're interested in adopting him.
Raymond is ready to bring joy and laughter into the perfect forever home!
