Angus is a mix and best guess, Anatolian/Shepherd/ Rafeiro do Alentejo mix and approximately 16 months old. He is a pretty laid-back big boy who loves to play with others his size, but on the flip side is just good about hanging out with 'his' humans. Good with kids over 10 years of age. He is just a sweet big dog! House trained, up to date on vaccines, neutered, micro chipped. transport is available to approved home. Located in western Washington. Meet Kona! 🐾 Kona is a lovable, mellow pup looking for his forever home! While he’s still young, Kona enjoys a good play session but tends to burn out quickly, preferring to relax and listen to the sounds of nature. He has a well-established routine that he loves to follow, making him an easygoing companion. Every morning, Kona heads outside for his bathroom break with a single bark to let you know he’s ready to come back in for breakfast. He enjoys exploring the yard until it's time for dinner at 6:30 PM, after which he loves to watch TV with the family and settle in for the night. Kona is a big fan of being brushed and loved on, and he walks very well on a lead, making him the perfect walking buddy. He’s comfortable around other dogs, people, and children, ensuring he’ll fit seamlessly into family life. However, Kona should steer clear of chickens, as he finds them a bit too tempting to chase. If have a large yard and are seeking a new best friend who’s content to enjoy the simple pleasures in life, Kona might just be the perfect companion for you! Come meet Kona and see if he’s the missing piece to your family puzzle. Kona is located in Cashmere, Washington. Story
$50 Adoption fee! Why so low? Yakima County is spilling over with stray and dumped dogs. Our goal is to get dogs into the right homes ASAP so we can help other dogs in need. It's not about the money, it's about finding the right home for these pups! Shadow had her puppies in someone’s back yard and the home owners let her raise her puppies there until they were old enough to be weaned from mom. The puppies went to the Humane Society, but the Humane Society could tell by Shadow’s behavior (non-agressive, just very very scared) that she would not do well in a shelter environment, so the reached out to us and asked her to take her. She was trembling so much when I first met her that she peed herself. I could touch her but she was absolutely terrified. Over the next couple days, I could touch her more and more - no more peeing and minimal shaking. I can’t wait to see what her true personality is! Adopters will need to be ready to have a lot of patience with Shadow as she learns to trust her new family. This dog is located in Selah, WA. PetFinder allows multiple postings of the same animal as long as the postings are 100 miles apart from each other. This way we can reach far and wide to find the perfect home for this dog. If driving to Selah is difficult for you, we will do our best to find a rescue partner to meet you halfway.
