Story
Hi, my name is Romondo and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Nov 02, 2024. There’s no better place than cuddled up close to my human on the comfiest couch. I’m the kind of dog that enjoys an easy-going lifestyle. Movie marathons, binge-watching shows, designated nap times, and regular pets are some of my favorite activities to do with my people!

Story
Lexi is about 6 years old. She’s a loving and respectful dog. She’s very obedient and healthy. The only reason I have to part ways with Lexi is because I have to move out and the place I’m going to unfortunately doesn’t allow big dogs. I love her and I would love to find a safe home that’s going to care for her.

Story
Pros: Oliver is the biggest cuddle-bully you will ever meet. He cannot get enough love, and he's convinced that he's a lap dog. When he wants food or attention, he sits and stares into your soul, showing how good of a boy he is. Sometimes to ham it up, he gives paw. He is extremely eager about putting on his collar and going for a walk. Difficulties: For unknown reasons, Oliver is very wary of other big dogs, and it took him 1 month to fully get used to our German Shepherd Sadie being in the house. He needs lots of exercise, and he can be very stubborn about not doing something he doesn't want to do. He will home in on any and all unattended food (or things that could potentially be food), and I'm not sure he knows what kibble or wet food even tastes like, with how fast he gulps food down. Why He's Being Rehomed: Our full-time work and school schedules often mean that this poor boy is bored at home. He deserves exercise, playtime, and people who can match his energy.

Story
3 year old, Anatolian Boxer Mix named Copper. She loves all people, she is very sweet, loyal dog, and a great family dog. We have trained her not to chase our cats or chickens. She loves to play and has the cutest puppy dog eyes. Her only negative trait is that she is an Alpha and does not like other dogs. We have another smaller dog, and Copper is a bit of a bully but they still get along ok. Its other peoples dogs that she doesn't like. We don't have accommodations to keep her home and safe. But she'd be a great dog for many other people. Please consider Copper as your next family pet, or farm dog.

Story
Hi, I'm Pippa,I sure hope you are looking for a great young dog to make your home complete. If that is so, then stop looking, you found her. I am pretty shy when I first meet new people but all I need is a bit of attention to build my confidence and I will shine. I don't live with children but I have been around them and I know to just stay calm and relax. I like dogs in my pack and I will play but I would prefer to chill out and relax. I am what you might call laid-back!When my foster family takes me out for a walk I stick pretty close to them because there are a lot of street dogs and they scare me a bit. It is much better when I walk with my pack. I don't have many toys but give me a nice marrow bone and I will be busy all day! Cats are not my thing, unless they like to be chased then I am all in.Oh did I mention that I love to swim? It is the best thing when we go to the beach and I get to play in the water. I'm in heaven then. The car ride there makes me a bit nervous so I don't look out the window or anything. I just wait until we are at the beach then I am fine.I am pretty good with my basic commands like Sit, Come and of course, come eat! I know I still have lots to learn but I hope my new family will be ready to teach me how to be the best dog I can be. If it sounds like we could be a match then fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.I am all yours,Pippa To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Goliath! He is a 4-year-old Anatolian Shepherd/Chow Chow mix. His name suits him as he is a VERY LARGE dog. He will need a strong adopter to handle his strength. Goliath is sweet with his people, food motivated, focused, and very active. He is dignified and can be quite stubborn at times but eager to please when food is involved. He would do best in a home with a big yard for him to run, play fetch, and explore! He is reactive towards other dogs, and needs to be the only dog in the home. Goliath is stunning and will need to go to a home with large breed experience. He is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400.

Cocoa is a great dog, friendly and loving. I am 79 and do not give her the exercise and play time she needs and deserves. I want a home for her that will provide these things as she requires. She is an active breed. Easy to train as she is young and loves treats.

Story
Beautiful boy Cooper is still very much a puppy, even though he’s almost 18mo old. He is very playful and active, and would prefer to spend his days running with his k9 pals in a very large yard or piece of property, or running with his person. Hiking would be a great activity for him, too. He will be an excellent exercise partner for an athletically active home. He is very friendly with everyone he meets so he would also be a great addition to a social home. After he has the appropriate exercise a couple times per day, he likes to come inside for a treat and to relax. He still needs a bit more house training, although if he has a strict potty break schedule, he’s doing great. Because he is such a social boy, he would do best with a work from home person. He’s great with kids but he has very wiggly and exuberant energy, and he’s very tall, so children must be over 12yrs old so they don’t get knocked over. He appears to be a Great Dane Husky mix and he weighs 68lbs. He loves to play with other dogs so another dog in the home would be ideal. He must have a 6ft, securely fenced yard. No kitties please
