Story
Hi, my name is Romondo and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Nov 02, 2024. There’s no better place than cuddled up close to my human on the comfiest couch. I’m the kind of dog that enjoys an easy-going lifestyle. Movie marathons, binge-watching shows, designated nap times, and regular pets are some of my favorite activities to do with my people!

Story
DaVitto came from a home on a 3rd story apartment with 5 young children. We took him in when he was 7 months old in hopes of giving him a better life with a yard to run and play. DaVitto was terrified of trying to go down 3 flights of stairs from his previous home and I soon found out he didnt know how to walk on hard floors! Veto has come almost full circle! Some days though, he is still uncertain of floors and loud spoken men. He was easy for me to potty train! He loves to socialize and prefers a comfy bed to cuddle up on. He plays very well with dogs of all sizes, has some interest in cats and will chase them out of the yard but has never hurt any cat or anyone. He absolutely loves his walks and his manners are excellent on and off a gentle lead. DaVitto was intended to be my daughters dog, however when she moved out she left him behind with me. I have 3 other dogs and am overwhelmed with the 4 dogs.

Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. ABIGAIL is an Anatolian Shepherd mix. She is about 75# and 2-3 yrs old. Abigail has some fuzzy hair with a beautiful fluffy tail that curls over her back when she’s playful. She is house trained and crate trained. She has no interest in cats and is particularly fearful of farm animals. She has not been around farm animals while growing up. In the process of testing her with all the animals, the donkey was the scariest and the noise the pigs made were frightful. After a half an hour walking among the farm animals she became much more curious and about them and calm…even with the donkey. She was a little leery of my sister and me but it only took her a few minutes to say hello. After that, all of us were able to pet her and give her treats. Her temperament is calm, sweet, and adaptable. Abigail has an allergy to Chicken so she is kept on a Blue Buffalo Lamb kibble. She also needs to go outside every 6-7 hours to do her business. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. Amelia is an Anatolian Shepherd mix. She is about 65# and 2-3 yrs old. Amelia has shorter hair than her sister and resembles more like a Lab. She is house trained and crate trained. She has no interest in cats and is particularly fearful of farm animals. She has not been around farm animals while growing up. In the process of testing her with all the animals, the donkey was the most scary and the noise the pigs made were frightful. She was a little leery of my sister and me but it only took her a few minutes to say hello. After that, all of us were able to pet them and give them treats. Her temperament is calm, sweet, and adaptable. AMELIA has been raised in a wonderful country home…crated at night and let play outside in the daytime. She does love to play with other dogs. Amelia is subject to ear infections… dogs with floppy ears do tend to have more ear infections…and she has a propensity to jumping fences as high as 5 ft. She will probably need a wooden privacy fence. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption.
