Story
Rosa is about as sweet as she can be, loves to play, sleep, and get pets! She's timid when you first meet her, but once she's comfortable, she opens up. She is great with other dogs, young kids, and has been totally non-reactive to cats (or any other small animal we pass on our walks.) She would likely be fine living with cats, but has not had the opportunity. She sleeps in her crate at night, sleeps quietly when foster mom works from home, and although she whimpers a little bit when her foster mom leaves the house, she calms down and can stay alone for long periods with no issues. She occasionally will chew on some socks or a board book, but only when she's really excited, she has never been destructive when home alone. Since she loves other dogs and LOVES to play, would likely be the best fit with another playful dog in the home. She is currently being treated for heart worm, takes her medications with no problems, and is excellent at walking on a leash and is potty trained! She really is such a wonderful dog. Rosa is a female Anatolian Shepherd with an estimated DOB of 10/1/2022. She weighs 46 lbs.

Story
Meet Star, an intelligent, amber-eyed beauty. She was found abandoned at a gas station in central Texas - but no fear, she found the good indoor life! She'll warm your heart with her big smile, friendly nature, and white star-shaped blaze along her forehead! She is a fast learner and is working on her advanced commands & manners - recall, no jumping and no pulling on a leash. She loves adults, treats & chews, fetch, the outdoors and car rides. A youthful companion, she occasionally gets the zoomies and wants to show off her play bows and fancy footwork. This girl is definitely along for the ride when it comes to sharing life's daily adventures. Star is house and crate trained and sleeps politely on her mat near your bed during the night. She completed heartworm treatment in February, is spayed and UTD on vaccines. Star will need to be the only pet in your home and is best with older kids (15yo+). Apply to meet Star today!

Story
Meet Kane, an adult dog with a zest for life. This energetic fellow is always ready for a good wrestling session, a nice run, or just playing with his toys. But don`t let his energy fool you, he`s equally fond of mellow moments, snuggling up for a good cuddle. He loves being petted and at 88 pounds there is plenty of him to pet. Kane`s gentle, friendly, and playful nature makes him a delightful companion. However, living outside has led to some habits that need refining. He tends to dig, beg, jump fences, make noise, and chew things. Being as smart as he is, he has figured out how to open gate latches too. But with some training, these behaviors can be managed. In a previous home, we were told he was house trained but, in the last six months after living outside, he`ll need to learn again. Kane`s vibrant personality and potential for growth make him an excellent candidate for a loving, patient home willing to guide him towards being the best dog he can be. His recent owners said he is easygoing with dogs, cats, and children but a previous owner says he plays rough. He may have a bit of a food aggression issue, but don`t let that deter you. His friendliness and lovable demeanor more than make up for it. He has so much love to give and is ready to become a cherished member of a loving family. Adopt Kane and let his vibrant spirit fill your home with joy and companionship. (tw 11/21/2024)Click `Play` to meet Kane.

Story
Meet Roxy, the epitome of puppyhood. Overflowing with curiosity, she`s on a never-ending quest for fun and discovery. Roxy`s goofiness is contagious, turning even the most mundane moments into laughter-filled memories. She`s playful, always ready for a game of fetch or tug-of-war. She enjoys car rides, running, toys, and walks which give her a chance to practice her enthusiastic jumping skills. Her friendly nature makes her a beloved companion, her energetic spirit a source of constant amusement. Roxy weighs 28 pounds already and is cuddly, her warmth radiating comfort and love. She loves being petted. She`s funny, her antics guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. She`s joyful, her zest for life infectious. She can be a little rough while playing with other dogs, but her heart is always in the right place. With children, she`s definitely playful, sometimes gentle and other times nippy. Her adopter brought her in because she, like all puppies, needs too much attention. She lived outside so she hasn`t had a chance to learn about house training yet. Please be patient with her. Adopt Roxy and bring home not just a pet, but a bundle of joy, love, and laughter. (tw 12/16/2024)
