Our adoption fee covers dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months), started on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, vaccinated for bordetella, dhppv, rabies (if age appropriate) and microchipped as well as spay/neuter at our preapproved vets. All puppies not altered due to age will under a foster to adopt contract until completed and an additional deposit of $100 will be required- deposit will be refunded upon completion of surgery. We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable. Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Dexter James is a 4 yr old English mastiff. He does have severe social anxiety. He needs someone that has time and patience to work with his anxiety! Small children scare him. However, once Dexter gets use to the adults/child he does calm down and not so reactive. A revolving door of different ppl in and out will put him on edge. But let me tell you as soon as he warms up to you he is the sweetest dog ever, he loves cuddles! Loves the water! When super happy and excited he rares up like a horse and spins in circles, adorable! Sits, lay down, backup and shakes. We got him at 3 months old and have enjoyed loving him ever since! He is a great protector but keep in mind it’s a fear based reaction. Dexter is completely house trained!He loves to be outdoors soaking up the sun rays ❤️ just as much as he loves laying at ur feet (or ur lap) watching tv. I do not want to let him go but after a hard yr due to health issues we have to move and no landlord will allow him 😔.(fee is negotiable)
