Story
|Santiago is a striking dog with a mostly white coat and a unique mix of white, tan, and grey on his face. He looks like a blend of Shepherd, Anatolian or Pyrenees, and Great Pyrenees, and carries himself with a gentle, thoughtful presence. At around 50 pounds, he’s a medium-large dog with a calm energy that makes him a steady companion. In the care of a foster home, Santiago has shown that he can settle when given space, patience, and quiet encouragement. He is comfortable in a household with other dogs and doesn’t react to normal activity or people moving around, showing that he can learn to feel safe in a calm, structured environment. Car rides are still a bit overwhelming, and new experiences can be intimidating for him, but with a gentle guide, Santiago is beginning to show curiosity and trust. He is not destructive and adjusts well when left alone in a secure, quiet space. Santiago is looking for a patient home that can continue to help him gain confidence, offering calm reassurance and gentle guidance. With the right family, he has the potential to blossom into a loving, loyal companion.

Story
Koda – 2.5-Year-Old Anatolian Mix | Calm, Gentle Soul Looking for a Quiet Home Koda is a 2½-year-old Anatolian mix weighing in at a perfect 50 pounds, and he is the definition of calm and steady. Whether indoors or outside, Koda carries himself with a peaceful, easygoing demeanor that makes him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a relaxed, low-key dog. On leash, Koda truly shines. He walks beautifully and naturally matches your pace, making daily strolls a pleasure rather than a chore. He is fully potty trained and understands the rhythm of home life, settling in comfortably and contentedly once he knows he’s safe. Koda is a true snuggler at heart. He loves being close to his people and enjoys quiet moments spent cuddling or resting nearby. Because of his gentle nature, Koda would do best in a calm household with no small children, where he can enjoy a predictable, peaceful environment and plenty of one-on-one companionship. Cats? No worries! Koda has lived in a home with cats and gets caught on video playing with their toys! When it comes to travel, Koda does get carsick on longer trips, but this is easily managed with Dramamine when needed. For everyday life and local outings, he does just fine and is happy simply being with his person. Koda is currently being fostered in a home in Seguin, Texas, where his calm personality and loving nature continue to shine. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion who enjoys quiet walks, cozy snuggles, and a serene home, Koda may be the perfect match for you. Story
Chase is a wonderful dog....he has all the physical characteristics of a Belgian Malinois...lanky and graceful...but not the high prey drive bred into this breed. Have you ever wanted to share your home with one of these magnificent dogs, but not the intense qualities that are chosen for drug detection work by the FBI. Chase is happy playing ball or going on a nice walk and then curling up to watch the FBI on tv with you, not engaging in going after criminals in real life.  He is gorgeous and fun, a super lovable lean and attractive doggy. Chase has glowing reports from his foster home. He loves car rides, is fully crate trained, quiet for a GSD breed! Super people and dog friendly. Chase came from Palm Valley where he was shutting down after being relinquished to the high kill shelter by his family. Like so many beautiful dogs, Chase did nothing wrong to be let down by his humans.  We have an excellent foster program which allows us to help another dog from another high kill area. Please consider sharing your home with our boy, Chase. May 23, 2024, 3:59 pm
