Bruce has the most loving, gentle, and calming personality—you can’t help but smile when he’s around. He walks nicely on a leash, takes treats gently, and loves to nuzzle in for plenty of pets and kisses. With his laid-back nature, he enjoys lounging in the sunshine in the play yard or cuddling up for belly rubs. He’s quickly become a staff and shelter favorite, always wagging his tail and waiting for pets when he spots familiar faces. He is patient while being brushed too. Bruce shows little interest in some barking dogs but engages with others, so he may do best as the only dog in the home. If you have another pet, the shelter recommends a dog test. Molly was surrendered to our facility after she was not compatible with the other dogs in her previous home. She is very treat-motivated, knows several basic commands, walks well on a leash, and even knows some fun tricks like offering her paw for a Âshake.Â Molly appears to be both housebroken and crate trained, which should help make her transition into a new home smoother. As a middle-aged, extra-large breed dog, Molly prefers a calmer environment and is past the stage of puppy antics. Because of this, she would do best in a home with children 16 years or older, or in an adult-only household. Molly does not do well with female dogs but may coexist with a calm, large-breed male.
